Dharamshala is located in the upper reaches of the Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh and is placed at an average altitude of 1,475 meters above sea level. The city is surrounded a thick cover of deodar cedar trees and is one of the major strong holds for the Tibetan refugees and the seat of the 14th dalai lama of the Tibetan sect of Buddhism.

The town due to its picturesque surroundings and the presence of the Dalai Lama has made the town a popular tourist destination, both for the Indians and the foreign tourists.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : To Delhi- Shahpur

  Arrive at Shahpur. Report to coach and proceed to hotel.
• Day 2 : Shahpur - Salli (Base Camp)

  Proceed to Salli. Reach for breakfast. Morning session of introduction and ice-breaking.
  Acclimatization walk around campsite in the evening. Overnight at Salli.
• Day 3 : Trek to Camp 1

  Post breakfast leave for Camp 1 at Handi forest.
  River crossing session and team - building activities. Overnight at Handi .
• Day 4 : Trek to Camp 2

  Post breakfast proceed to Camp 2 - Chogratu Highlands campsite.
  Post lunch indulge in team-building games and visit to Snow Point in the evening. Overnight at Chogratu.
• Day 5 : Chogratu - Handi Forest Campsite

  Post a lazy breakfast, departure for trek to Camp 1 at Handi forest. Post lunch enjoy group games. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Handi.
• Day 6 : Handi Camp - Salli (Base Camp)

  Return to Salli campsite. Post lunch try your hands on rope based activities like Multi-Vine , Burma Birdge and Commando net. Evening Campfire with music. Overnight at Salli.
• Day 7 : Depart-Return Home with Happy Memories

  Today bid farewell to your tour', as you are transferred to the airport / railway station for your onward journey.
