Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Yuksom

  Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, get transfers to Yuksom, the historical capital of Sikkim. The drive takes you through quaint villages steep valleys and green hills. Yuksom is rich in history and tradition, as it was here that the first Chogyal of Sikkim was consecrated by the three Lamas. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Yuksom - Tsoka

  Following an early morning start, you trek for three hours through lush green meadows and cross four mountain streams. Henceforth, the trek is a continuous uphill path lined with conifers and is virtually carpeted with a bed of leaves to leach Bakhim (9000 Ft / 2744 Mts), - a hill village. Tsoka (10000 Ft / 3049 Mts, 17Kms / 7 Hrs), is a slightly larger settlement with a few houses, a monastery and is the last village on the route. You spend the night at Tsoka. Overnight at Trekkers Hut / Tent.
   
  Please note: NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign National are not allowed to go on Trekking, visit Tshangu Lake, North Sikkim (Lachung or Lachen), without a valid permit (RAP- Restricted Area Permit). In order to avail the facility of RAP the guest traveling will have to be 02 or more in number. RAP is required which is issued in lieu to ILP & valid Indian Visa. This is done from the Home Department, Sikkim Government, situated at Gangtok. The guest will have to bring an additional 04 passport size photograph in case visiting these areas.

• Day 3 : Tsoka To Dzngri

  The vegetation changes to stunted bushes of rhododendrons and miniature pine trees resembling bonsais as you gain altitude with every step to reach Dzongri (13218 Ft / 4030 mts, 10 Kms 5 Hrs). Overnight at Trekkers Hut / Tent

• Day 4 : Dzongri

  Dzongri is picture of solitude surrounded by hills and mountains on all sides. The mountain fortress has no settlements except for two trekker’s huts. An early morning trek at around 4.30 am to Dzongri top which at 14002 ft / 4269 mts is higher than most mountain peaks in Europe, presents yet another view of the Kanchenjunga along with other ranges basking in the glory of the rising sun. We return to the campsite and have breakfast. After breakfast we lose altitude during the first half of the trek and steadily regain it as you walk along the river Prekchu, a tributary of the Rangeet, before you reach your camping site at Thanshing. Thanshing (12602 Ft / 3842 mts, 10 Kms / 4 Hrs). is the base camp for mountaineering expeditions to Mt. Tinchinkhan (6010 mts). Overnight at Trekkers Hut / Tent

• Day 5 : Dzongri Lamune

  You set out early for your destination- Lamune (13658 Ft / 4164 Mts, 6 Kms / 4 Hrs). Lamune is surrounded by imposing mountains on all sides. You stop here for the night. Overnight at Trekkers Hut / Tent.

• Day 6 : Lamune- Goecha Pass

  You leave at 3 a.m. in the morning equipped with torches braving the temperature of 90 below zero and climb to Goechala (the Goecha Pass 16252 Ft / 4955 Mts)- higher than any place in Europe. After sunshine, the area is engulfed with fog and cloned banks. You return to Lamune to collect your gear and move down to Thanshing. Overnight at Trekkers Hut / Tent.

• Day 7 : Lamune To Tsoka

  You take a short route back to Tsoka (10 Kms / 5 Hrs) through dense forests. We call it a day at Tsoka. Overnight at Trekkers Hut / Tent

• Day 8 : Yuksom

  A veritable repeat of your 3rd day, the only difference being that you are walking downhill to Yuksom. A visit to the Dubdi monastery- one of the oldest in Sikkim is a must. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 9 : Departure

  After breakfast, get transfers to Bagdogra for your onward connection.

Payment Terms & Methods :
All correspondence(s) in respect of Tours / Travel Services and bookings should be addressed to M/s. Suhana Safar Tour Operators


Booking:
On confirmation of booking your contract is with M/s Suhana Safar Tour Operators A contract exists between us when we confirm your tour/travel services and have received the deposit amount from your end. .


Payment:
For the services contracted, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total cost is to be paid by you to M/s Suhana Safar Tour Operators.The deposit is required to hold the booking on confirmed basis.


Balance Payment:
Balance payment is to be made 7 days prior to the date of start of services. Any booking made within 15 working days of the date of services would be considered to be a late booking and for same the full and final payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Arrival and Departure Policy:


Check-In Timings: 1200 - 1500 Hours 
Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. 
Check-Out Timings: 1000 - 1200 Hours 
Late check-outs are available on request and subject to availability / Payment


Extra Usage of Vehicle:
Please note that the cost of extra usage of vehicle (cars / coaches with the driver) is not included in the services and hence extra usage of Vehicle after transfer or after sightseeing is not allowed until unless it is mentioned in the detailed itinerary / services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :
* Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
* Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
