Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Hanoi – Hai Phong – Hydrofoil to Cat Ba

  Active Travel Asia adventure guide meet you at 7:30 am and departs to Hai Phong. Where we catch the hydrofoil schedule at 09.00AM from the harbor to Cat Ba. Drive from Hanoi to Hai Phong takes us about 1.5 hours.
  Cat Ba is the largest island in Halong bay so it is automatically the biggest one over the North of Vietnam. This island bears on it a dense jungle and several small but clean, lovely beaches. Upon arrival, we check in hotel and head out straight to clean lovely beach. Overnight on Cat Ba Island.
• Day 2 : Trekking Cat Ba National Park Viet Hai Village 5hrs Trekking

  Breakfast in the hotel before the bus takes us to the edge of Cat Ba National Park. Start our Cat Ba trekking, our tour guide will follow you all the time of hiking for guiding and maximizing your experience with his guidance from what is suitable speed, ascending and descending hills but do not hurt your muscle to a small tiny technique such as lacing your shoes. That feature classifies us always outstanding from other operators and makes your tour real trekking experience.
  
  We are going to have a long trek across dense jungle of Cat Ba Island to reach the peaceful Viet Hai village, with a short break at Frog Lake. Have lunch in a local house in Viet Hai village - the most beautiful village in Cat Ba before keep hiking to our bungalows facing Lan Ha bay where we stay overnight. You can spend the rest of the day for relaxing to get energy back for our kayaking adventures tomorrow.
• Day 3 : Kayaking Lan Ha of Halong Bay Full Day 5-6 Hours Kayaking

  We suggest you should take a biking trip to get from Viet Hai to the quay because of its beautiful biking paths. End up our trek to Cat Ba Island here and change to new but must-done challenge - Halong bay kayaking.
  You are provided with professional sit-in kayaks, paddles, life vests and dry bags. Our guide will help you with some warming-up exercises. We get on the support boat and transfer to Lan Ha bay where we start Halong kayaking to reach Ba Chai Dao Beaches. Lunch on the support boat which following you kayaking time. A support boat is to help us get deeply into remote and untouched parts of the bay. That is the way we get our tours into true adventure level.
  In the afternoon continue paddling to Dark Cave. If tide permitting, we explore this amazing cave of Halong Bay by kayak. The cave is a 200m long, dark tunnel thrusting through a limestone mountain, opening to a secluded and beautiful lagoon. After the exploration, take a kayak to Halong Bay where we meet cruise to check in.
• Day 4 : Halong Bay – Hanoi

  Before breakfast, we have a Tai Chi practice on the sundeck.
  9:00 Check out and clear bill while the cruise is navigating through amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay to get back the dock. Your lunch is served on the junk before you say goodbye to the cruise and meet our driver to back to Hanoi. The trip ends at a hotel in Hanoi.
