Package Overview

Thadiyandamol: Climbing the highest peak in Coorg district is the most popular trekking route. Kakabe, which is an hour’s run by road from Madikeri, is the base for this trek. This trek takes a minimum of 5 hours and is best undertaken early in the morning
Iruppu falls: This 4-hour trek through the Brahmagiri range starts from Virajpet. The route runs through dense jungle and is arduous. The view of the Lakshmanateertha River, the Iruppu waterfall, and sounds of the jungle make this trek worth the effort.
Galibeedu to Subramania: This is a 30-km trek meant only for experienced trekkers. This trek should not be undertaken without a local guide as the route passes through some of the densest rain forests in this region. The base is Galibeedu village, which is 17 km away from Madikeri. The route passes private coffee plantations on to Subramania peak.
Sanivarshante to Subramania: Sanivarsanthe is 26 km from Madikeri. This village is the base for a 35-km trek through rain forests. Small waterfalls are common along this route, which culminates at Subramania. This area form a part of elephant’s migratory corridor, and it is best to avoid this area after sunset.

Start the trip from Bangalore, Nishani Motte / Betta lies in the range of Bhagamandala (Talacauvery) range, Coorg. It is about 335 Km from Bangalore and the trek distance from the base point Talacauvery is around 13 – 14 KM.
Commence conquering the trails covered by rich shola forests and lush meadows and later follow the ridge to the summit. From the top, you will be able to capture the spectacular beauty of the Brahmagiri range.
There would be an expert guide from Tala Cauveri Forest Department to help you know the wild life and routes better.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  overnight journey from Bangalore to Bhagamandala Village via Virajpet. It is 335 KM away from Bangalore.Reach the home stay early morning and freshen up.
  Have breakfast before you head out to begin the trek.Take a bus from the homestay to Tala Cauvery Base of Nishani Motte which is 8 KM away.You will see the Tala Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary Arch which is the starting point of the trek.The beginning portion is a rugged jeep road that will lead you to the jungle.Reach the top to revel in the utmost beauty of the surrounding.The last check point is the Anti Poaching Centre where you will start trekking back to the bus point and return to the homestay.Have dinner and relax near bonfire (depending on the weather condition).
