Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrived Guwahati airport.Drive to Bhulakpong/ Namari Tiger Reserved 260km 6 hrs Over/ Night /

  Met upon arrival and drive to Nameri wildlife park for 5 hours for overnight. Evening walk in the forest to see various birdlife. Nameri Tiger Reserve is nestled at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas; it covers an area of 200 Sq. Kms. Situated in the eastern border of Assam valley and mountainous Arunachal Pradesh, it’s a very scenic sanctuary with river Jia Bhoroli bifurcating through. Nameri is home to some of of the endangered species like White-winged Wood Duck, and many other winged species.

• Day 2 : Nameri To Dirang

  Drive to Dirang 221 km in 6 hrs . The journey is along a very scenic road traversing forested hills. And crossing over the Nichephu pass to the Tanga valley .traversing the Tanga valley. The road climbs through a series of hairpins to the town of Bomdila, located at 2800m height pass of same name. Here a after the road descend to the picture postcard Dirang valley at 1600m which is our Destination for the day. Overnight at hotel in Dirang

• Day 3 : Dirang to Thembang After breakfast, drive to Thambang where your camp staff will be waiting for

  After breakfast, trek to Semnak 15 km altitude of 7900 ft., a small village inside the jungle. The second day of the trek is through thick jungle and trail is easy. But watch out for those leeches! Evening in the camp/Local house.
• Day 4 : Semnak - Lagam - Chander

  After breakfast, trek to Chander via Lagam for 18 km. altitude of 9800 ft. This day is also little tough. Chander is a small village of Monpa tribe and also a Base Camp for Mountaineering. If the weather is clear than great views of Mt Gorichen and Mt Kangto are available from here. Chander is a famous for herding of Chongrey, an animal which resembles a half cow and half sheep. You will find more than 500 Chongrey in and around the village, it is also located in the top of the hill. In the month of January and February this place is completely covered by snow which last till March and April. Evening in the camp.
• Day 5 : Chander To Thongri [Its 2500M ]

  6 Hours hard trek through coniferous forest forest with two steep climbs. Beautiful view of the Sela range surrounding valley and Himalaya watershed.

• Day 6 : Changla Pass To Possingla pass [Its 4200M]

  3 Hours trek steady climb through forest, Rhododendrons to cross over Possing la Pass its 3900 Meters and Continue Climbing for another 04 Hours to Camp 4 at Potak
• Day 7 : Potak

  Short Trek Explore the Surrounding Area and Visit Many Holi alpine lakes. Over/ Night/ Camp No 4
• Day 8 : Potak To Lurthum [4000M]

  3 Hours trek uphill to Cross the Highest Pass Tsela Pass its 4550 M. on this Bailey Trail there is a Alpine lake below the summit and breath taking Panoramic View of the sela ridge , the river Valleys,Gorichan .[6500m .and kangto[7200 M ] Peak on the Himalayan Water shed . continue down hill trek for 2 hrs to river Valley with back ground of Mighty Peak . Camp 5 lorthum.

• Day 9 : Lourtham To Mago [3500 M]

  6 Hours trek first along the River Valley, Passing by a Small Cluster of Yak Huts to descent through Rhododendron and coniferous Forest to a tributary of Tawang Chhu
  River to reach Camp no 6 Near Mago Village at 3500m,

• Day 10 : Mago To Thimbu [3200M]

  4 Hours Trek Rocky Trial Following The Tawang Chhu River Followed By A Stiff Climb Camp No 7. Near Thimbu Village At 3200 M
• Day 11 : Thimbu To Jung

  6 Hours trek through Mixed Forest, Crossing and re-crossing the Tawang Chhu River and its tributaries more than a dozen time over log and Suspension Bridge to reach the highway, Trek End . Transfer to jeep and drive to Tawang 40km 1 hrs, Over Night/ Hotel
• Day 12 : Nomden Nymgyal Lhatse

  in morning visit Buddhist nunnery BRUMDONGCHUNG
  ANNI GOMPA /[, which are the adobe of nuns. Unlike the monks, the girls become nuns and join the nunnery on their own and there is no social pressure or tradition

• Day 15 : Tezpur To Guwahati
