Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mother Teresa Airport - Tirana

  Scheduled flight to Tirana. Arrival at noon, transfer to our beautiful boutique hotel. Visit the medieval fortress Petrela small refreshment. Traditional welcome dinner in the restaurant. Overnight in Tirana.
• Day 2 : Tirana - Apollonia - Llogara National Park

  Drive south to Vlora (about 185 km). En route visit the Orthodox Monastery of Ardenica (13th c.), The ruins of Apollonia system with the Acropolis, once an important Greek city in Illyria, and the Byzantine monastery. On request, visit the archaeologist. Museum. This afternoon, arrival at the hotel in the mountain Llogara National Park (2 nights).
• Day 3 : Llogara National Park - Llogara Pass - Llogara National Park

  (10 km)The traveling part of our journey begins at 1000 m altitude with a fairly easy hike (about 4h, 1000m-1500m) via the scenic impressive Llogara Pass, which runs through the same densely forested with pine Nature Park. Along the way, spectacular views of mountain panoramas and the Vlora Bay open to the Karabruni Peninsula. Lunch picnic. After climbing to the summit Shen Thanas (1,500m), we go down again partially on the old military road. This afternoon, optionally further migration or free time.Overnight in Llogara National Park.
• Day 4 : Llogara National Park - Cika Mountain - Qeparo Village

  After a short transfer to the starting point (32 km) hike (about 4 hours) of moderate difficulty to the summit of Mount Cika (1030m-1600m), the highest massif in southwestern Albania. From the summit Dhjopurit (1550 m) opens up a fantastic view of the highlands of Labëria, the island of Corfu and other Greek islands on the horizon. Short drive to Dhermi Beach, where we can rest and have lunch. On the beach (3 nights) to the village Qeparo, there is our Bed & Breakfast Hotel, time to recover.
• Day 5 : Qeparo Village - Dhermi Village - Qeparo Village

  Morning again an easy walk (about 4 hours) by citrus and olive groves to the secluded beach of Gjipe (260m-0m downhill). Lunch picnic and swimming. The way back uphill again on Monastery (150m) to Dhermi Beach. En route visit a number of orthodox churches in Dhermi, such as the Church of the Holy. Maria with its exceptional murals.
• Day 6 : Qeparo Village - Porto Palermo - Qeparo Village

  Drive along the Ionian coast to Tepelenë Fortress of Epirus ruler Ali Pasha (19th century), picturesquely situated on the bay of Porto Palermo, lunch there on a terrace. CONNECTING. easy walk (about 2 hours) to the old district Qeparo and Mount Qeparo time (0m-300m) with stunning views of the most beautiful part of the Albanian Adriatic coast.
• Day 7 : Qeparo Village - Butrint (UNESCO) - Saranda - Gjirokastra

  (130 km)Drive along the coast to the “Albanian Riviera”, one of the most beautiful stretches of the Ionian Sea, according to Butrint. Visit to the Roman-Byzantine ruins conditioning (UNESCO World Heritage), and the museum. After lunch, drive to Saranda (85 km in total), the ancient Onchesmos and today Greek Orthodox embossed port city of “40 saints.”
  
  Drive to Gjirokastra (about 60 km). Called the way visit the “Syri i cold”, the huge karst springs in Gjere Mountains, and the “Blue Eye”. In Gjirokastra, the “City of Stone” with their tradition. Albanian architecture, city tour with the mighty castle, the Historical and Ethnographic Museum. Here also the two most famous Albanians, Enver Hoxha and Ismail Kadare was born. Family-run hotel in the Old Town. Dinner in the restaurant.
• Day 8 : Gjirokaster (UNESCO) - Tirana Airport

  Transfer to Tirana Airport. Return flight home.
