Best time for roopkund trek
In winter its become very difficult to reach even 2nd camp due to heavy snow. Throughout the winter the plae recevs heavy snow fall. Thats why you in snow even in may-june. So this trek only accesible in the month of May-June and sept-oct.
If you want a snow experience than may-june. If you want lil bit snow, chilly weather and LUSH GREEN MEADOWS and you prefer flaura fauna than sept-oct is best time for you.
Day 1 : KATHGODAM – LOHAJUNG ( 225 KMS/DRIVE 10 HRS)
Reach at the given time at the Kathgodam Railway station. Different short-duration trains run from Delhi and other cities(For more data click here). We will meet you at the station. We start our drive from Kathgodam to Lohajung (Starting point for the Roopkund Trek ).
