Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Delhi

  Arrival at Delhi international airport. Clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and Lotus India Holidays representative will meet you with a placard. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight.
• Day 2 : Delhi

  Morning after breakfast full day city tour of Delhi, tour starts with Old Delhi drive past of Red Fort. Visit the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. Later take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit New Delhi, which will include photo stop at - Parliament House, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, one of the best examples of a Mughal Garden Tomb. Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret. Overnight.

• Day 3 : Delhi - Haridwar

  Morning after breakfast travel to Haridwar.(220 Km. - 4/5 Hours) After check in visit Haridwar, one of the most sacred cities for Hindus. The most interesting part of town is Har - ki - Pairi, the town’s main bathing ghat. At dusk the river comes alive with flickering flames as floating offerings are released onto the Ganges. Every evening at sunset priest perform Ganga Aarti (the river wor - ship ceremonie). Overnight.

• Day 4 : Haridwar - Rishikesh

  Morning after breakfast travel to Rishikesh (25km from Haridwar), the Yoga capital of the world. The setting on the banks of the Ganges surrounded by hills is perfectly conductive to meditation. Enjoy a walk in the village. Back to Haridwar. Overnight.

  Morning after breakfast travel to Corbett tiger reserve(116 Km. - 4 Hours) . On arrival check in the hotel you will proceed for an adventurous game drive at Corbett national park. Overnight.

• Day 6 : Corbett Park

  Morning after breakfast go for your safari in Corbett tiger reserve. This park was established in 1936 as India’s first national park by the legendary British Tiger - Hunter, Jim Corbett and was the starting point for the India - wide project tiger program in 1973, inspiring the creation of 22 other reserves. Your best chance to see a tiger is to come late in the season (april to mid - June). The wild life reserve includes wild elephants, langur monkeys, rhesus macaques, peacocks, leopards, mugger crocodiles and several types of deer.

• Day 7 : Corbett Park - Agra

  Morning after breakfast travel to Agra.(330 Km. - 7/8 Hours) On arrival check in hotel and proceed to visit red fort. Overnight.

  Early morning visits to Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), a UNESCO Heritage Site, to catch the sun rising over the Taj Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later travel to Jaipur, (250 Kms / 6 - 8 hours), the first planned city of India. En - route visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar to honor the Saint Salim Chisti. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the evening explore world famous jewellery bazaars. Overnight.

• Day 9 : Jaipur

  Morning after breakfast visit Amber Fort, Enroute photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace). Later visit City Palace Museum; boasts to have some of the priceless handwritten Hindu scriptures, miniature delicate paintings, the elephant saddles (haudas). Conclude your day with visit to Jantar Mantar; one of the famous observatories.
