The itinerary of Leh Ladakh Pangong Lake Tour covering 6 Nights 7 Days tour to explore monasteries of Diskit Monastery, Nubra Valley, and the valley of flowers with crossing Khardungla Pass. See the most beautiful landscape of Ladakh Lake in Pangong Lake, Changla Pass, and the third Highest Motorable road in the world.
Day 1 : Delhi to Leh
Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel. Post lunch visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Market. Overnight Leh.
Day 2 : Leh – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast group will visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame (museum), Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River) and spituk monastery
Day 3 : Leh - Hunder (Nubra) 120 Km / 4-5 hrs
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. Rest of the day, one is free to explore Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. Visit Disket Monastery. Overnight Hunder.
Day 4 : Hunder - Excursion of Turtuk (border of India and POK) - Hunder
After breakfast, drive to Turtuk Village.Enjoy newly opened area for tourists by Indian Army and back to Hunder Overnight at Hunder.
Day 5 : Nubra – Pangong 140kms / 5-6hrs
After Breakfast group will visit Disket Monastery and drive to Pangong Lake through the shayok river belts and enjoy some remote village life style and tradition.Overnight stay at Pangong Lake with elevation of 14,500FT with the beauty of lake view.
Day 6 : Pangong – Leh
After Breakfast group will drive Leh via changla pass. Also have Monastery tour like:-
Shey – Situated on the eastern bank of the river Indus, the small village Shey is just about 15 kms from Leh. The place is popular for the ancient palace and the monastery. The Shey Palace was the residence of the royal family built in the 17th century. Also you can see the ruins of a fortress present above the palace. The Shey Monastery also has a three storey image of Buddha Sakyamuni made of copper gilt.
Thiksey Monastery - Located on top of a hill, the monastery is an excellent example of Ladakhi architecture. This contains several stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddha's teachings
Hemis Monastery - Built in 1630, this is the biggest and most famous monastery in Ladakh. It is at a distance of 49 kms from Leh and 30 kms from Thiksey.

Day 7 : Leh – Delhi
Early morning transfers to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.

2. Cancellations between 16 days to 30 days before start date, 35% of tour cost would be charged as retention.
3. Cancellations between 10 days to 15 days before start date, 50% of tour cost would be charged as retention.

Very comprehensive tour of Ladakh, including the wonderful Hemis Festival at the Hemis Monastery. The scenery and places visited were outstanding.
