Tamilnadu tourism has always been remarkable in all its characteristic features for the avid travellers, this enthralling state is being fascinated with its grand temples, mesmerizing beaches, exotic wildlife and panoramic hill stations. This package of Holiday Colours will help you to explore the east-coastal area of Tamilnadu, by adding Pondicherry, Rameshwaram, Tanjore and Mahabalipuram in the plan.
Pondicherry or Puducherry is one of the most popular tourist attractions in India and among the top weekend getaways from Chennai & Bangalore. Pondicherry, a former French colony, is well known for its colonial heritage and secluded beaches. It is known for its beaches, Museum and Botanical Garden.
Rameshwaram is one of the most famous pilgrimage centers in South India. Rameswaram Temple is one of the most famous Shiva shrines in India. It is significant for Hindus as a pilgrimage to Banaras is incomplete without a pilgrimage to Rameswaram; and Mahabalipuram is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the second capital of the Pallava kings of Kanchipuram. This is one of the major places of heritage in Tamil Nadu.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive At Chennai – Pondicherry

  Upon arrival at Chennai airport, we will proceed to Pondicherry (Approx 180kms/4hrs). Check in to your hotel upon arrival. The evening is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pondicherry.
• Day 2 : Pondicherry

  Sun rises at the peaceful city of Pondicherry. Explore this city with a French connection. Plan your visits to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, colonial houses, Ananda Rangapillai House, serene beaches (promenade, Auroville, Paradise, Serenity & Veerampattinam). Later, we return to the hotel in Pondicherry.

• Day 3 : Pondicherry to Rameshwaram

  After an early breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and proceed to Rameshwaram (approx 450kms / 10hrs drive). Check in to your hotel upon arrival and reside at the hotel in Rameshwaram.
• Day 4 : Rameshwaram

  After breakfast, proceed to visit Ramanathswamy Temple, House of Kalam, Agniteertham & Dhanushkodi beach etc. and finally for a stay overnight at the hotel in Rameshwaram.
• Day 5 : Rameshwaram to Tanjore

  The following day after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Tanjore (approx 250kms / 5-6hrs). Check in to your hotel upon arrival. Later, we will visit the Brihadeeshwara Temple and stay overnight at the hotel in Tanjore.
• Day 6 : Tanjore to Mahabalipuram

  After an early breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and proceed to Mahabalipuram (approx 310kms / 6hrs). Check in at your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, we will visit the Shore Temple, Panch Rathas & Tiger Cave etc. and later return back to the hotel in Mahabalipuram.
• Day 7 : Departure from Mahabalipuram

  On the final day after breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and transfer to Chennai airport (approx 60kms / 1-2hrs). The Tour concludes with joyful memories.
