Package Overview

Tso Moriri is the largest high-altitude lake that is entirely within India. It can be found in the Changthang plateau area of Ladakh. The Changthang is a high altitude plateau with vast highlands and vast azure-blue lakes. This area was only recently opened to foreigners given it close proximity to China. Throughout this 7 day trail you will have the pleasure of traversing through 7 mountain passes, more than 10 river crossings and high arid plains which are home to an unforgettable wilderness and magnificent landscape. While on this trek it is likely you will encounter an occasional camp of the Changpa tribe. This is a nomadic tribe that was historically known to travel from Ladakh to Lhasa. Now they can be found living in Yak skin tents moving with their herds of sheep, goats and yaks.Flights
