Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Muscat - Wahiba Sands - Wadi Bani Khalid – Turtle Beach

  Itinerary : Pick up time 8.30 a.m. You will depart from Muscat toward to the golden sands of the Wahiba Desert. The great Wahiba Sands are located in dunes 200 km long and 100 km wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. You will experience dune bashing on the golden sand dunes and visit the local bedouin house for Omani Coffee, camel rides will be available. You will then proceed to your next stop, Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of Oman that holds water all year round. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the date palms. The pretty villages of Wadi Bani Khalid cling precariously to the rugged mountainside. After a lunch in Wadi Bani Khaled we drive to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. You will then have time to relax at the hotel. Dinner is at 8.00 p.m. after which you will meet up with a guide who will take you out to the beach to search for turtles. Whilst we are very successful in sighting turtles, there are no guarantees. You will finish this and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
• Day 2 : Sur - Sink Hole - Muscat

  Itinerary : After breakfast at the hotel we depart for Muscat at 8:30am via Muscat Sur highway along the coastal road. Our first stop will be at traditional ‘Dhow’ building (wooden ship building) factory, where they use to build Arabian dhows the traditional way and the carpenters use to put the whole thing together without any reference drawings. After lunch in Sur, we drive back along the coast to see The tour would continue towards to Bimmah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with inviting blue-green water, concrete steps lead down the side making swimming possible. Post this we drive back to Muscat and reach Muscat at around 4:30 pm.
