Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Udaipur Airport – Transfer to Mount Abu (approx 170 km / 3.5 hrs)

  Upon arrival at Udaipur airport in morning, our representative will be there to meet you and transfer to Mount Abu. Upon arrival at Mount Abu, check in & later proceed for sightseeing. Visit the world famous Dilwara Jain Temple, Nakki Lake and Brahmin Kumari Ashram. Dilwara Temple is a group of remarkable Jain temples. Among the finest examples of these are two temples in which the art of carving marble has reached unsurpassed heights. The older of the temples is the 'Vimal Vasahi', built in 1031 and dedicated to the first tirthankar, Adinath. In the front of the temple stands the 'House of Elephants', with figures of elephants marching in procession to the temple entrance. The later built 'Tejpal Temple' is dedicated to Neminath, the 22nd tirthankar, and was built in 1230 by the brothers Tejpal and Vastupal. The carving is so fine that, in places, the marble becomes almost transparent. Nakki Lake is virtually located in the heart of Mount Abu and is a big attraction with tourists. The lake takes its name from the legend that it was scooped out by a god, using only his nails, or nakh. While takeing a stroll along the lake, look for the strange rock formations. On the lake there is a dilapidated concrete boat-shaped snack bar. Dinner & Overnight stay in the hotel.

  After breakfast at hotel, leave for Udaipur. Check into your pre-booked hotel. Udaipur – This is Rajasthan’s most congenial and romantic city situated in the lap of the thickly wooded Aravali Hills. Founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh following the final sacking of Chittorgarh by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar, Udaipur rivals any of the world famous creations of the Mughals with its Rajput love of the whimsical and its superbly crafted elegance. Udaipur has been called the “Venice of the East”. Later visit Fateh Sagar Lake, Nehru Garden, Moti Magri (Pratap Smarak) & Lok Kala Mandal. Overnight stay in hotel at Udaipur

• Day 3 : Udaipur – Local sightseeing

  After breakfast in the morning, enjoy a motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. The beautiful Lake Pichola was enlarged by Maharana Udai Singh after he founded the city. The city palace extends a considerable distance along the east bank of the lake. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. You can also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – which is a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. Afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends), & Crystal Gallery. In the evening, Ropeway at Lake Pichola for a mesmerizing sunset. Overnight at Udaipur hotel.

  After breakfast at hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Check-out from the hotel and visit local nearby market for some souvenir shopping on your own. Later in the evening, we will drop you at Udaipur airport for your onward journey.
