Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Port Blair

  Fly in to Port Blair Airport. Our representative will meet you at the Veer Savarkar Airport and assist you with your transfer. Board the waiting vehicle, drive to your hotel and check in. You have the first half of the day at leisure. Later, in the afternoon visit Cellular Jail followed by taking in the Sound and Light show. Cellular Jail holds an important place in the story of India's freedom struggle. Several courageous freedom fighters were imprisoned here. Declared a national memorial, this three storey prison constructed by the British in 1906 is a pilgrimage destination for people who love and cherish freedom. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhuman atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail. This show gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence. Overnight stay at respective hotel / resort in Port Blair. (Note: Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and National Holidays, visiting hours to Cellular Jail and Museum close by 16:00 hours and Sound and Light show is open every day at 18:00 hours).

• Day 2 : Port Blair to Baratang Island ‑ Distance 120 km

  Early in the morning set off for Baratang, it's about 120 km from Port Blair (travel time is 3 hours and 30 minutes due to speed restriction in the tribal reserve area). It is a beautiful route through dense rain forests which also berth one of the oldest tribe in the world called ‑ Jarawa (any interaction or exchange of any foreign articles / photography with them is strictly banned). After reaching Baratang, you will be taken for sightseeing to limestone caves by motor boat through dense mangrove forests. Visit Mud Volcano by a local jeep. Overnight stay at Baratang. (Visit to the limestone caves is not available on Mondays and national holidays. In the evening, you can opt to visit Parrot Island (Optional Activity on direct payment basis)
• Day 3 : Baratang Island to Diglipur Island 200 km (Time: 5 hours)

  Early in the morning, have your breakfast and proceed on a trip to Diglipur, North Andaman by road (325 km). Diglipur is the biggest island in Andaman group of Islands and has a lot to offer for tourists. You will be assisted with your transfer to Aerial Bay Harbour to take a boat and visit Ross and Smith Islands. Ross and Smith Islands are twin islands bridged by a pristine white sandy beach that makes a natural swimming pool lagoon at one side and a snorkeling paradise on the other. One can walk from one island to the other during low tide. Spend the day swimming or relax on the beach. Overnight stay at Diglipur. (Please note that the visit to Ross and Smith Islands is not available on Tuesday. The itinerary will be shuffled if this trip falls on a Tuesday).

• Day 4 : Diglipur to Port Blair via Rangat ‑ Middle Andamans

  Early in the morning, check out of the hotel and proceed to Port Blair via Rangat. En route visit Amkunj Beach at Rangat village. Later visit Mochidera Beach and Dhaninallah Beach. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
• Day 5 : Port Blair to Havelock

  After breakfast, you will be taken to Phoenix Bay Harbour to catch a ferry to Havelock. This Island is one of the most beautiful and largest islands of Ritchie's Archipelago and is a placid heaven like no other. Situated 57 km northeast of South Andaman with an area of 92 sq km it offers a breathtaking trail of expeditions. This island is primarily populated by Bengali settlers. It hosts two of the world's most renowned beaches; Vijaynagar Beach and Radhanagar Beach. The island also has the biggest concentration of breathtaking diving and snorkeling sites, thus acting as a paradise to marine world explorers. Upon your arrival, a cab will be arranged to provide pickup and drop service to Radhanagar Beach (also called Beach No. 7). It was named 'Best Beach in Asia' by a reputed magazine in 2004. Spend the day relaxing at this beautiful beach. Later proceed to your hotel. Overnight stay at your comfortable hotel/beach resort. (Note: Today your breakfast will be at Port Blair, if you are travelling by an early morning ferry ask the hotel to provide a packed breakfast. Ferry timings are mentioned on the tickets provided to you. Please report 45 minutes prior to departure with a valid photo ID card ‑ operation of ferries are subject to weather conditions and government clearance).

• Day 6 : Havelock Island ‑ Day leisure / Excursion to Elephant Beach (Optional)

  Embark on a memorable snorkeling trip, just 40 minutes by boat. Elephant beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it's so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Note: Inclusive of snorkeling equipment and car pick‑up and drop to jetty. (Note: This trip is inclusive of transfers, boat charges, guide floating device and equipment with an additional cost of Rs. 950 per head. Guest may also hire a 2 wheeler and ride around the island or may choose to go for scuba diving or game fishing on direct payment basis. This trip destination may change to Light House due to weather conditions. Ferry Operation is purely subject to Government clearance).

• Day 7 : Havelock Island to Port Blair

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel. You will be taken to the harbour to catch a ferry to Port Blair. Return to Port Blair as per advised ferry timings. Upon return from Havelock Island, you will be assisted with your transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort in Port Blair. (Note: Ferry timings are mentioned on the tickets provided to you. Please report 45 minutes prior to departure with a valid photo ID card ‑ (operation of ferries are subject to weather conditions).
• Day 8 : Departure

  You will be assisted with your transfer to the airport. Depart with unlimited happy memories of your holiday in the Andamans.
