Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin Arrival – Vaikom / North Kumarakom (70 Kms / 02 Hrs)

  Arrival at Cochin Airport (assistance on arrival) and drive to Vaikom / North Kumarakom. Afternoon proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Vaikom (Kumarakom) - a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. Overnight stay is arranged in Vaikom.
• Day 2 : Vaikom / North Kumarakom – Alleppey (40 Kms / 01 Hr 15 Mins)

  After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
• Day 3 : Alleppey – Vagamon (100 Kms / 03 Hrs 30 Mins) - Thekkady (45 Kms / 02 Hrs)

  After Breakfast check out from the house boat and drive to Thekkady. Enroute visit Vagamon for a halfday sightseeing. On arrival check in to your hotel. Relax rest of the day. Overnight stay is at Thekkady.

• Day 4 : Thekkady

  Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

• Day 5 : Thekkady – Athirapally (160 Kms / 05 Hrs 45 Mins)

  After breakfast check out from the resort and drive to Athirapally. Athirapally Waterfalls is a popular picnic spot where water plunges from a height of nearly 80 feet before joining the Chalakudi River. Check in to the hotel on arrival and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Athirapally.
• Day 6 : Athirapally – Cherai (60 Kms / 02 Hrs)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Cherai. Enroute visit Kodanad Elephant Camp. Day Leisure. Overnight stay at Cherai.
• Day 7 : Cherai – Cochin

  Morning, after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin. Sightseeing Chotanikara Temple, Marine Drive (for Boating – Chinese Fishing Net, Fort Kochi, Mattacherry Palace (Dutch), Jew Street, Etc) & Lulu Shopping Mall. Later Drop at Airport / Railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
