Mussoorie popularly known as the Queen of Hills is a popular hill station known for scenic view of snow capped mountain peaks of the Himalayas, modern bungalows, mall road, well-laid gardens, nature walks and overlooking the majestic Doon valley. There are several intriguing tourist locations like Company Garden, Kempty Falls, Gun Hill, Camel’s back road, Jharipani Falls, Mall Road, Bhatta Falls. Sisters Bazar, Landour and nearby towns of Dhanaulti, Kanatal and Tehri.
Rishikesh is called as yoga capital of India is the getaway to Chardham. Its also a popular adventure tourist spot with sports such as bungee jumping and white water rafting. There are many popular places specially Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhoola both are iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges, Triveni Ghat and Parmarth Niketan.
Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal is considered as an amazing hill station and important ski destination located at an elevation of 2,500 metres to 3,050 metres in the Himalayan Mountains of Uttarakhand. This small hill town is renowned for the fascinating ski resorts bordered by coniferous and oak forests and is blessed with breathtaking views of mountain ranges like Nanda Devi, Mana Parvat and Kamet. Auli also boasts the Asia's longest cable car - stretching to a distance of 4 km and Chair Lift and a Ski-Lift which takes people to higher slopes is the key attraction.
Badrinath along with Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath form the Chota Char Dham, one of the important pilgrimages for Hindus cradled in the Nar-Narayan mountain ranges of Uttarakhand. The temple is located along the banks of Alaknanda River at an elevation of 3,133 meters and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped as Badrinath. The temple remains covered in snow for over six months and during this period the deity is shifted to Joshimath. There are many attractions like Tapt Kund, a group of hot sulphur springs just below the temple, Mana village, better known as the ‘last Indian village is about 3 Kms from the temple along with other attractions like Vasudhara Falls, Bhim Pul and Vyas Gufa. Badrinath is also the getaway to trek to Satopanth Lake.
Kausani is a picturesque hill station famous for its scenic splendor and its spectacular view of 300 km-wide panoramic view of the Himalayas including Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nandakot and Panchchuli peaks and can be viewed from most part of the town. Popular spots to visit in Kausani are Rudradhari Fall which is about 12 km from Kausani, Baijnath at around 20 km from Kausani and Kausani tea Estate.
Ranikhet also known as ‘Queen Meadows’ is about 60 Kms from Nainital. This is a cantonment town surrounded by oak and pine trees with calm and serene beauty. Ranikhet offers great views of the lofty Himalayas and is known for its sunrise and sunset. Other places to visit are War Memorial, Himalaya View Point, Chaubatia Garden, Golf Ground, Jhula Devi temple and Kalika Temple.
Nainital is one of the most charismatic hill station built around a uniquely shaped lake known as the 'Naini Lake which is a popular spot for various activities such as paddle boating and row boating. Its also called as a lake city with other surrounding lakes at Bhimtal, Sattal, and Naukuchiatal and Khurpatal Lake. There are many other tourist spots like Nainital Mall Road, Nainital Zoo, Eco cave Garden, Naina Devi Temple, Snow View Point, Tiffin Top, Naina Peak and nearby town of Pangot.
Jim Corbett National Park is the Project Tiger Reserve and the oldest national park in India established in 1936. Corbett National Park has been divided into five different zones. These are Bijrani Safari Zone, Jhirna Safari Zone, Dhela Safari Zone, Dhikala Zone, Durga Devi Zone and Sitabani Buffer Zone. Dhikala is the largest and most varied zone in Corbett because of its superb location and hard core wildlife experience. Jeep Safari and Elephant safari in Jim Corbett are some of the most exciting activities.
Haridwar also known as Hari-Ka-Dwar is a spiritual town on the bank of holy river Ganges and is famous for its Ghats and Ganga Aarti at 'Har Ki Pauri'. Also reffered as Gateway to God, this town has many spritual places like Pawan Dham, Daksh Temple, Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi temple; both can be reached by a ropeway.
Day 1 : Dehradun-Mussoorie
The journey begins into the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand as we arrive at Jollygrant Airport, on arrival we meet the host and start the road journey to Mussoorie which is 60 Kms from the Airport and takes about 2 hours. We drive via Dehradun which is the capital city of the state of Uttarakhand. The drive from Dehradun to Mussoorie is an uphill drive of about 30 Kms. On arrival at the hotel you get over with the check-in formalities and relax in the alloted room. Post lunch go out to visit Kempty Falls, Company’s Garden and spend rest of the evening is free to go out for a walk on the Mall road of Mussoorie from where one gets a very good view of Dehradun Valley. Stay overnight at Mussoorie.
Day 2 : Mussoorie-Dhanolti-Tehri-Mussoorie
This full day is for excursion as you drive up to Tehri Dam, Enroute you visit Dhanolti which is a small hamlet at an altitude of 7500 Ft, Kanatal and Chamba and there are lots of adventure parks around. Tehri Dam offers variours water sports activities which you may like to undertake and return to Mussoorie by evening. Stay overnight at Mussoorie.
Day 3 : Mussoorie-Rishikesh
Explore Mussoorie today with early morning visit to Chardukan, Landour, Sister Bazar, George Everest and thereafter proceed to Rishikesh which is a drive of about 2 Hours. The zig zag road to Dehradun offeres some great views and you drive to Rishikesh via Raipur, Thano and Bhogpur. On arrival at Rishikesh get over with the check-in formalities and relax for sometime in the room alloted to you. Evening is free to explore the ghats of Rishikesh, Tapovan, Laxman Jhoola and attending Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Stay overnight at Rishikesh
Day 4 : Rishikesh to Auli Via Chopta
Its a long drive to Auli today, we start our journey early and take the uphill drive going past the Prayags (Confluence of Rivers) Devprayag, Rudraprayag, From here we deviate and take the route via Ukimath, Chopta, Gopeshwar and Chamoli to reach Joshimath. Reach Joshimath from where Auli is just 16 Kms. The entire route is along the holy rivers and high mountains of Uttarakhand. On arrival you get over with the check-in formalities and relax for rest of the day in the allotted room. Stay overnight in Auli.
Day 5 : Auli-Badrinathji-Auli
Visit Badrinath Dham today which is about 50 Kms from Auli, On arrival at Badrinath visit the temple and then go further to explore Mana Village and have tea at the last Indian Tea shop. Return back to Auli by afternoon. Later enjoy the amazing vies of the mighty Himalayas from Auli. Take the cable car ride in Auli and relax for rest of the day. Stay overnight in Auli.
Day 6 : Auli-Karanprayag-Kausani
Its time to head towards the Kumaou region of Uttarakhand. We take an early morning drive to reach Kausani. We drive past Nandprayag, Karanprayag, Gwaldam, Gwaldam is the last town which falls in the Garhwal Uttarakhand before we cross over into the Kumaou region’s beautiful hilltown of Kausani, also called ‘The Switzerland of India’, Kausani is about 240 Kms from Auli. Enroute visit Baijnath Temple which is River Gomti and its 19 kms before Kausani. On arrival we get over with the check-in formalities and relax for the day in the alloted hotel room. Stay overnight in Kausani.
Day 7 : Kasauni –Ranikhet – Nainital
Go for walk in Kausani market, capture some amazing views of Himalayas and later proceed to Nainital via Ranikhet golf course and Chaubatia Garden. On arrival get over with the check-in formalities and spend the evening on the Nainital Mall road. Stay overnight in Nainital.
Day 8 : Nainital (Lake Trip)
Popular lake town Nainital greets you today, visit Nainadevi Temple and head for Lake Tour which is one of the most popular activity as there are many other beautiful lakes in the region like Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal, Sattal, Naldamyanti Tal. Once back you may relax for sometime and later go for boating on Naini Lake and walk around on the Nainital Mall Road. Stay overnight in Nainital.
Day 9 : Nainital–Corbett
Before heading towards Corbett you may take the ropeway to snowview or visit Nainital Zoo in the morning and enjoy the 2 hours mountain drive to Jim Corbett National Park via Kaladhungi. On arrival at Corbett get over with the check-in formalities and head for Jungle safari which needs to be pre booked. There are popular safari trails like Bijrani, Jhirna, Durgadevi and Sitabani. Alternatively if you arrive early then you may book the 6 hours Dhangarhi Safari on a Canter (16 seater Govt Safari Vehicle) from Dhangarhi Gate which takes you to DHIKALA, considered as a core zone in Corbett. Evenings are free to spend in the resort campus. Stay overnight in Corbett.
Day 10 : Corbett – Haridwar
Early morning visits to Corbett Falls, Garjia Devi temple and head towards Haridwar, also known as Hari Ka Dwar and is one of the most holy cities in India. On arrival get over with the check-in formalities and later in the evening attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Stay overnight in Haridwar.
Day 11 : Haridwar
Go out to visit Chandi Devi & Mansa Devi Temple in the morning. Alternatively you can visit Rajaji National Park to take the Jungle safari. Post Lunch you check out and head towards Jollygrand Airport for the onward journey.
