  In the early morning trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. You have to walk 13 kilometers from Katra to reach the top of the sanctuary. If you can not walk the mountain trails you can hire horses or palanquins. En route about 6 km from Katra will reach the Adhkawari, the sacred cave where Devi Mata said in meditation for nine months. Visit this cave. After 9.5 km of trekking we reach the Sanjhi Chhat. Take a rest here for some time. Then walk to the Bhawan again and get the lot number showing your receipt of Yatra.
