Valley of Flowers "Foolon ki Ghati" is one of those beautiful trekking expeditions that can be enjoyed during the monsoon season. It is flawlessly nestled in the West Himalayan region of Uttarakhand and lies at a lofty height of 3600 m above sea level. With an opportunity to spot the very rare blue Primula, the Valley Of Flowers trek is one of the best-known treks in the world.

The Valley of Flowers is also believed to be the place from where Hanuman brought the magical herb to resuscitate Lakshman in the Hindu epic Ramayan. Just as you set your foot into the valley, the intoxicating mix of fragrances emitted from the flowers makes you feel in a paradise. The hidden lake at the height of 14,400 ft, creates a hidden coop for numerous species of wildflowers like the saxifrages, sedums, lilies, poppy, calendulas, daisies, geranium, zinnia, and petunia.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Rishikesh | Transfer from Rishikesh to Joshimath

  Pick up from Rishikesh at 6:30 AM
  • Drive to Joshimath / Govindghat Via Devprayag
  • Arrival at hotel by evening
  • Dinner in Hotel

• Day 2 : Joshimath/Govindghat to Ghangaria, 10 Km

  Early morning wake up call
  • Leave hotel after breakfast
  • Drive to Pulna, the last motorable point
  • 10 km Trek from Pulna to Ghangaria.

  • Dinner at the Hotel

• Day 3 : Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers, 8 Km

  Early morning Wake up call
  • Leave for Ghangariai after Breakfast
  • Valley is 4km from Ghangaria, Explore the Valley

  • Return to Ghangaria after having Packed lunch
  • Dinner and rest in Hotel

• Day 4 : Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib, 12 Km

  Check out of Hotel after Breakfast
  • Reach Gurudwara in afternoon.
  • Return back from Ghangaria around 1.30 pm as
  it is not allowed to stay beyond 2pm.
  • Evening Snacks and Dinner at the hotel

  After Breakfast descend down to Govindghat.

  Leave Joshimath early morning
