Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar

Arrive Srinagar airport, assistance on arrival & proceed to houseboat check-in. Srinagar is also known as “paradise on earth” & “The Venice of Asia”. Afternoon free. Dinner & overnight at houseboat.

Day 2 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast leave for Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (The Royal Spring). Nishat (The Gardens of Pleasure) Shalimar (The Adobe of Love) & famous Shankaryacharya temple. Afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel

Day 3 : Srinagar - Gulmarg (58 kms one way)

After breakfast leave houseboat / hotel & proceed to Gulmarg (8700 fts a.s.l) On arrival in Gulmarg check-in hotel Gulmarg is also known as “Meadow of Flowers” & has a famous golf course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf course in the world) & ski Resort during winter. Afternoon free. Dinner and Overnight in hotel

Day 4 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam (154 kms one way)

After breakfast check-out from hotel & proceed to Pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l) “Village of Shepherds” enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields. Awatipora ruins (9th Century) & Martand Temple (Sun temple). Pahalgam is famous for Indian film Industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. On arrival in Pahalgam check-in hotel. Dinner & overnight in hotel.

Quotation & Confirmation:

Our tour executive will quote you with a tour itinerary, but this is not the final confirmation of your Kashmir tour. After you confirm the proposal with paying the deposit, our travel agent will make the booking for you. Once all of your bookings are confirmed, you will receive a formal confirmation Mail from Kashmir Trips.

Deposit:

10-20% of total cost as the deposit is required at the time of confirmation of the reservation.

Balance Payment:

A deposit of rest of the payment as per your selected tour is required 21 days prior to commencement of tour or as per agreed at the time of confirmation of the tour.

I was one of seven people that did this entire trip. When booking I think it is important to know that this whole trip is a combination of lots of little trips.
