Varanasi is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh dating to the 11th century B.C. Regarded as the spiritual capital of India, the city draws Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred waters and perform funeral rites. Along the city's winding streets are some 2,000 temples, including Kashi Vishwanath, the “Golden Temple,” dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Sarnath is a place located 10 kilometres north-east of Varanasi near the confluence of the Ganges and the Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Deer Park in Sarnath is where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna.Gaya is a holy city beside the Falgu River, in the northeast Indian state of Bihar. It’s known for 18th-century Vishnupad Mandir, a riverside temple with an octagonal shrine. Close by, ancient Mangla Gauri Temple is set on a hilltop. To the north, Hindu devotees bath in a Brahma Kund pond before honoring their deceased ancestors atop Pretshila Hill. To the south lies the Hindu pilgrimage center of Bodh Gaya.
Day 1 : Arrive Varanasi
Dashashwamedh Ghat Once you arrive at Varanasi our tour representative will guide you to your allotted hotel here where you will be duly checked in. After freshening up at the hotel you will be made to visit the iconic and the holiest jyotirlingas in India, KashiVishwanath temple. After the completion of your darshan you will be taken to Annapurna Devi temple and Vishalakshi temple. By evening you will be taken to for the holy Ganga Aarti which will take place on one of the most holy ghats of Varanasi, DashashwamedhGhat. You will then be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Varanasi – Sarnath
After having your breakfast early in the morning you will be taken to visit Sarnath, which is located at a distance of just 45 mines. Sarnath is a popular holy site especially for Buddhists since this was the place where Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment to his Sangha. You will then be taken to visit to the following holy places like – Dhamek stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Jain temple, Buddha Sarnath museum, deer park and Ashok Stambh. If there is still time you will be taken for visit to places like SankatMochan, TulsiManasMandir, DurgaMandir and Kaudi Mata Mandir. By evening time you will be taken back to Varanasi where you will be staying the night.
Day 3 : Varanasi - Bodhgaya
After breakfast, Drive to Bodhgaya (265km/6hrs) Lunch on the way. On arrival check in to the hotel. See 80 feet giant statue of Buddha, The main Mahabodhi temple in Bodhgaya where Buddha meditated and attained enlightenment under the bodhi tree. Visit other international temples of Buddha attraction. Night halt in Gaya.
Day 4 : Bodhgaya - Ayodhya
Early morning by 5:30am proceed to Gaya (15km/30min) and have darshan and perform PitruTarpanPooja (PindDaan) at Vishunpadam Temple, Purohit's may take you to Phalgu River for rituals. Later drive back to Bodhgaya for breakfast. After lunch check out from hotel and drive to Ayodhya. Over night stay in hotel.
Day 5 : Ayodhya - Lucknow
Once you are done with your breakfast early in the morning you will be taken for a visit like Saryu River, Hanuman Garhi, Ram JanamBhumi, KanakBhawan, SwargDwar, Mani Parbat and Nageshwar temple along with others if time permits and after drive to one of the holiest places in India and one of the most sacred Divyadesams out of the 108 – Naimisharanya. This holy site for Lord Vishnu is situated at a distance of almost 1 hour 45 mines or 2 hours. After your darshan here you will be taken to a few nearby places to visit around here like Hanuman Garhi, SitaKund, ParamMandir, VyasGaddi along with the ashram of MaaAnandamayi. You will then be taken back to your hotel in Lucknow, by evening, where you will be spending the night.
Day 6 : Departure
Allahabad FortEarly in the morning after the completion of your breakfast, you will be made to proceed towards Allahabad which is at a distance of 4 hours and 20 mines. upon your arrival at Allahabad you will be taken for a brief sightseeing tour of the city to some of the holiest places here like – TriveniSangam for a holy dip, Hanuman temple, AnandaBhavan, Some other temples and Ashoka Pillar. evening drop at Railway Station / Airport / Bus Stop
