Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN SAIGON
Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon) is vibrant and charming, filled with friendly people, an alluring culture, and all the conveniences of a modern city.
Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel (on request). Free at leisure or explore the city on your own.
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2 : SAIGON CITY TOUR
Have breakfast at hotel. Take a half day city tour wandering along the city’s historic Dong Khoi Street, the former Rue Catinat, and stop to explore the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Municipal Post office and War Remnants Museum
Have diner at one of the city’s finest restaurants and overnight in Saigon.
Day 3 : SAI GON – DELTA MEKONG / CAI BE – CAN THO
Cai Be, one of the many well-known floating markets in the western region of southern Vietnam was formed in the Nguyen Dynasty in the 19th century.
Breakfast at hotel. Take a coach trip to Cai Be. On arrival, take a boat to visit the Cai Be floating market, see with sellers & buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Transfer to a rowing boat to meander through shady canals and visit orchard gardens and enjoy local tropical fruits in Tan Phong islet. Lunch at a local restaurant with dishes of specialty such as “elephant ear” deep - fried fish
Continue with a boat trip to Cai May village, stroll around the village to visit traditional handcraft workshop to see how rice paper, logan drying and coconut candies are made. Continue to Can Tho and overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4 : CAN THO – SAI GON
Can Tho is right in the connecting way from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta in both via land and water. It is a gate of Mekong Delta area. Along with Ben Tre Province, Can Tho was known as one of the green destination in Vietnam.
Breakfast at hotel. Take a early excursion heading to Cai Rang floating market where you can see the daily life and local people selling their products on boats. Then head for small canals to visit one of the local families and their orchard, taste ripe fruits and sip on green tea
Take the way back to Saigon and have lunch at a local restaurant. Free time for relax and overnight in Saigon.
Day 5 : SAIGON – PHAN THIET / MUI NE
This is one of the best laid-back getaways in Vietnam. The town of Phan Thiet itself is a bustling little fishing port - quite picturesque and good for a day's visit -- but you'll want to get out to the long, sprawling, sandy stretch of beach to the east: Mui Ne.
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Phan Thiet , Check in hotel and have free time at leisure.
Stay overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 6 : MUI NE – NHA TRANG
After breakfast, drive to Nha Trang. The highway takes you to the coast passing salt ponds and vividly green rice paddies. Stop at Phan Rang for a break and pay a visit to the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti. Lunch at a local restaurant
Arrive in Nha Trang. Check in hotel and stay overnight in Nha Trang .
Day 7 : NHA TRANG – CITY TOUR
Breakfast at hotel. Take a morning boat trip in Nha Trang Bay to visit some of the nearby islands but can't stop yourself from jumping into the crystal clear warm water immediately. Enjoy your leisure time at the beach. Lunch at a local restaurant
Then, take the city's highlights into your lens: Po Nagar Cham Towers above the fishing harbor; Hon Chong beach which means 'Rocky chaos' in Vietnamese, and small pagoda on the cape; Long Son Pagoda with its big Buddha statue sitting on lotus blossom, good sightseeing from the top of the hill.
Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 8 : NHA TRANG – DA NANG – HOI AN
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer directly to the airport for a domestic flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, pick up & transfer to Hoi An.
Arrive in Hoi An - a living monument to Vietnam’s rich history. Make an excursions to visit some major highlights of this ancient city including the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200 - year - old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong pagoda and the vibrant market
Day 9 : HOI AN – DA NANG – HUE
After breakfast, drive to Hue . Along the way, stopover at the sensational Cham Museum & the Marble Mountains. Stopover at the top of Hai Van pass for photo shooting. Lunch at a traditional restaurant
In the afternoon, make a short excursion to visit the Imperial Citadel including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and the Forbidden Purple City. The rest of the day is for visiting Thien Mu pagoda – the symbol of Hue by the romantic Huong river. From here, embark on a boat for a cruise downstream on the Perfume River to Trang Tien Bridge. Enjoy spectacular scene of Perfume River on sunset.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 10 : HUE – CITY TOUR
After breakfast at hotel, visit the Tomb of Tu Duc King, It is one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty. Then visit the tomb of Khai Dinh King is one of the most surprising among the royal tombs of Hue.
In the afternoon, visit Phu Cam, village of incense sticks and conical hats, also called Phuoc Vinh. Then stroll around the central market Dong Ba. Leisure time for shopping.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 11 : HUE – QUANG BINH – PARADISE GROTTO
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Quang Binh, visit the former demilitarized zone (DMZ) along the Ben Hai River, where vestiges of fierce battles can be seen comprising the ruins of the old Quang Tri Citadel, Dong Ha Town, the Hien Luong bridge and the Vinh Moc Tunnels
Arrive in Phong Nha. Take a boat ride along the Son river to visit spectacular Thien Duong Cave. Check in hotel at Dong Hoi Town and overnight at Dong Hoi.
Day 12 : QUANG BINH – HA NOI
Breakfast at hotel. Then drive to the airport for your flight to Ha Noi. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel
Today we have a city tour with the most highlights of Hanoi including: the Temple of Literature, which well-known as the first University of Vietnam, built in 1070), Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son temple, enjoy a short city tour by cyclo around French Quarters.
Enjoy the spectacular performance of Water Puppet Show – remarkable Vietnamese art from that combines traditional music, fireworks, and underwater puppeteers and elaborate puppets floating gracefully over water.
Welcome diner at traditional restaurant and overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 13 : HA NOI – HA LONG BAY
Breakfast at hotel. Then depart for Ha Long Bay. On the way, visit Bat Trang ancient ceramics village. Arrive at Ha Long Bay around noon, transfer to cruise ship. Check in cabin, have welcome cocktail and depart for the bay. Lunch on board
Visit Cua Van floating fishing village, one of the largest village in the bay, capture the daily life of the local fisherman. Explore more than 1900 spectacular limestone island. The boat trip includes visiting the Grottos of Wooden Stackers, Heaven Cave. Diner and overnight on board.
Day 14 : HA LONG – NINH BINH
Breakfast on board. Join in morning activities such as: Tai Chi lesson, swimming. Continue to journey to explore Ha Long Bay. Check out of cabin around 11a.m
Drive ahead to Ninh Binh. Road trip takes about 3 hours long, Visit Hoa Lư ancient, Vietnam’s ancient capital eleven centuries ago. Here, visit Dinh – Le ancient temple, two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the founders of the ancient capital during the 10th century. Diner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 15 : NINH BINH – HA NOI
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Tam Coc, take a rowing sampan trip through the tranquil river between picturesque limestone mountains, green rice paddles, and explore three caves with spectacular scenery around. Lunch at a local restaurant
Drive back to Ha Noi . Then wander around the trading area in the Old Quarter. Farewell diner at traditional restaurant is served. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 16 : HA NOI – DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to International Airport for your homeward flight or to the next destination.
