Vis Island & Blue Cave

Package Overview

Our special day on the sea starts with the glorious Green and Blue caves. We visit the Green Cave and have an opportunity to swim inside. Next we explore the famous Blue Cave. It’s ethereal silvery blue colour is created by the sun, as it bathes the inside trough an opening in the roof and this is reflected back by the sandy surface below. After Blue Cave (Komiza) we will head to Stiniva Bay. Looking from the sea side, Stiniva is closed in by two high rocky cliffs which, at their closest point, are just four metres from each other. Between them appears a pebble beach but only after sailing through the ‘gateway’ does it open out like a Roman amphitheatre auditorium paved in stones. Our tour will continue on through the little island of Budikovac, pronounced Budihovac by the locals, an ideal spot for a swim or just to relax. On the island, there is a wonderful pebble beach, and a small bay, protected from the open sea, a beautiful lagoon for swimming on the south-eastern side of the island of Vis. Stonćica, the lighthouse and cape, the long bay and the small fishermen’s settlement will be our last stop on Vis island. There is a sandy beach, bar on the beach, a beach volley court and lots of shade under the palm trees, to relax.
On the way back from Vis island to the island of Hvar we will stop at Palmižana on Pakleni islands.
