Package Overview

Weekend Package is a one day excursion package to Kalpeni Island. On Saturday the ship departs from Kochi/Mangalore/Beypore and on Monday morning ship returns to Kochi/Mangalore/Beypore. Sunday will be spent with a range of water sports like, snorkeling, kayaking, viewing under water marine life through glass bottomed boats etc.

Kalpeni Island

Kalpeni along with two small islets of Tilakkam and Pitti and the uninhabited island of Cheriyam in the north form a single atoll.
A peculiar feature of Kalpeni is a huge storm bank of coral debris along its eastern and southeastern shorelines.
It is a socially progressive island and it was here that girls first went to school when women's education was considered taboo.
One can swim, snorkel or reef-walk in the vast lagoon and indulge in water sports on kayaks, sailboats and pedal boats. Two bathing huts with change rooms are available at Koomel Beach. A nonstop entertainment ashore in Kalpeni Island. Scuba Diving

• Day 1 : Kochi/Beypore/Manglore

  13:00 TO 14:00 Boarding/Embarkation to the ship (Change based on departure point)
  
  03.30: Inspection of MMD Surveyor
  
  04.00: Departure
  
  04.30 to 5.00: Evening tea
  
  20.00 to 20.45: Dinner

• Day 2 : Kalpeni Island

  07.30 AM after finishing their morning chores and breakfast on board the ship.
  
  08.00: Disembarkation to Kalpeni Island
  
  08.30 to 09.00: Reception with welcome drink
  
  09.00 to 12.30: Kayaking
  
  Lunch is served at tourist complexes 13:00 to 14:00

  14.30 to 15:00 Folk Dance
  
  15:30 to 16:00 Visit to Hosiery Factory & Village Sight seeing

Cancellation Policy
20% cancellation charge will be deducted if the booking is cancelled 30 days before departure of the ship.
35% cancellation charge will be deducted if the booking is cancelled between 29th to 7th days before departure of the ship.
No Refund If Cancelled Within 7 Days Before The Departure Of The Ship.Refund Policy
100% refund if the schedule is cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions and/or other unexpected technical faults. No damages/claims will be payable except money paid by them, Refund will be process 15 to 20 working days.
