Agra is a city offering a discovery of the beautiful era. Agra has a rich history, reflected in its numerous monuments dotted in and around the city. The earliest citation for Agra comes from the mythological era, where the epic Mahabharata refer to Agra as ‘Agravana’ meaning paradise in Sanskrit. ‘Ptolemy’, the famous second century A.D. geographer, was the first person who referred to Agra with its modern name. The Modern Agra was founded by Sikandar Lodi, ruler of the Lodi dynasty in the 16th century. It was when Shah Jahan descended the Mughal throne that Agra reached the zenith of architectural beauty.

The city lies in the Western part of Uttar Pradesh on the bank of River Yamuna. Though the wonderful allure of the Taj Mahal attracts people from around the world over to Agra, it is not a standalone attraction. The city offers a trail of fascinating tombs and mausoleums to explore. Acclaimed for its lavish crafts like Pietra Dura (marble inlay) work, rugs and leather goods, and the luscious Petha, Agra equally caters well to shopaholics and foodies.

Day 1 : New Delhi - Agra

Drive to Agra, the "city of love". En route, visit Sikandara, where lies the Tomb of the Emperor "Akbar The Great".
Arrive at Agra
Transfer to hotel
Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. It is the memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also, visit Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna, Diwan-I-Am and Diwan-I-Khas.

Payment Terms & Methods : The total amount displayed on the Website does not include all applicable government taxes unless mentioned otherwise.

Fare Monster Travels reserves the right to cancel the ticket in case of increase in the fare when the Air Ticket is issued, due to airlines, miscalculation in amount due to server error and from the banks payment gateway issue and forfeit the amount received as Cancellation Charges. You must pay the difference to Fare Monster Travels after the communication to avoid any inconvenience.

At the time of booking, 30% of the entire amount will be charged. The remaining amount should be made one week prior to the travel date. In cases where the amount is not paid one week before the travel date, Fare Monster Travels will be at liberty to cancel such bookings as per the hotel policy. The initial payment made along with the service charge will not be refunded.

Infants must be under 2 year to be eligible for Infant Ticket. Please make sure to provide valid proof-of-age documents while checking in. The infant must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or older. Each adult can book only one child at a time. To avail Infant Ticket, the infant must be under 24 months of age throughout the entire itinerary of the booking. If the infant is 24 months or above, separate booking must be done as a child.

Child Ticket will be applicable for children aged between 2-12 years. Please make sure to provide valid proof-of-age documents while checking in. The child must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or older.

Fare Monster Travels is not responsible for the delay or cancellation of flights from the airline’s end. If the flight ticket is cancelled directly from the airline’s official website, office or call centre, the customer needs to inform us for the refund to be processed. Kindly note that Fare Monster Travels do not get any alerts from the airlines directly.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :The date on which the request to Cancel is received by Fare Monster Travels will determine the cancellations fees applicable.
For cancellations before 60 days or more of the date of departure, 25% of the tour cost will be retained as cancellation charges.
For cancellations before 30 days or more of the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be retained as cancellation charges.
For cancellations before 15 days or more of the date of departure, 100% of the tour cost will be retained as cancellation charges.
Fare Monster Travels will process the refund only after getting the cancellation request/ claim from the customer/ travel agent/ corporate company via our website or mail. Refunds will be processed as per the airline and hotel fare rules and cancellation policy.
The refund will be credited to the same account from which the payment has been made. The processing time for refunds may vary depending on the mode of payment, bank, etc. Refunds in credit cards may take duration of 72 hours and up to 7 days in case of net banking transactions. The Wallet amount once used for any transaction cannot be transferred to your bank account. However, it can be used for future booking with us. The refund will be processed after deducting the convenience fee which is mentioned above.
