The West Coast National Park surrounds the Langebaan Lagoon and of global significance to wetland bird species. The reserve’s hosts mammals like Eland, red hartebeest, Cape grysbok, caracal and rock hyrax.

After the last winter rains, the Cape West Coast bursts into vibrant wild flowers and a must see when visiting (flower season is usually late July to September).
