West - Discovering the Baobabs and the Tsingy Package

Package Overview

This is an adventure on an unpaved road through the forest, crossing the Tsiribihina river and then arrive in the national park of Bemaraha. The West of Madagascar is famous for its giant trees BAOBABS, the world heritage known by UNESCO the spectacular TSINGY of BEMARAHA and the sunset at the baobabs alleys. DO NOT MISS IT !!!!

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  ARRIVAL - ANTANANARIVO
  Arrival at the airport of Antananarivo. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation on Bed and Breakfast basis in your hotel.

• Day 2 :

  ANTANANARIVO – MORONDAVA
  ( Internal Flight)
  Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport. Fly to Morondava (according to flight schedule subject to change). Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon, excursion by local canoe to discover the local fishermen villagers and the mangroves. Accommodation on Half Board basis in your hotel.

• Day 3 :

  MORONDAVA - BEKOPAKA
  (about 8hours drive with stops)
  Morning breakfast and departure by 4X4 for Bekopaka. After crossing the river Tsiribihina Lunch at Belo Sur Tsiribihina (at your own arrangement). Check-inBekopaka in the early evening. Accommodation on Bed and Breakfast basis in your hotel for 3 nights.

• Day 4 :

  BEKOPAKA:MANAMBOLO GORGE & SMALL TSINGY
  Breakfast at the hotel then boarding on a local canoe for discovering the gorge ofManambolo with is beautiful landscape and in discovering the old tombs of the Vazimba people living in the area previously. Then explore the smallTsingy of Bemaraha for amazing the beauty of this park in visiting its caves, circulation through its labyrinth and panoramic view onto the pinnacles limestone. Back to the hotel in the afternoon.
• Day 5 :

  BEKOPAKA:BIG Tsingy
  Breakfast at the hotel. Day visit of the big Tsingy.
• Day 6 :

  BEKOPAKA - MORONDAVA.
  Breakfast at the lodge, and drive back to Morondava. Stop on the way and visit of the baobab lovers on the way and possibility to admire the sunset before the transfer to your hotel. Accommodation on Half Board Basis in your hotel.

• Day 7 :

  MORONDAVA – ANTANANARIVO
  Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight back to Antananarivo. Meeting at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation on Bed and Breakfast basis in your hotel.
