The picturesque Kangra Valley ( 2000 feet) lies in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The exotic Kangra Valley lying between the Dhauladhar and the Shivalik foothills in the state of Himachal Pradesh is the conglomeration of valleys and plateaus of the Himalayas. It is one of the most pleasant and relaxing destination in the Himalayas. The Valley was called as the Nagarkot in the ancient times, as it was the ancient capital of the hill state of Nagarkot. Renowned for its natural beauty, the valley attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Amritsar, literally meaning the 'Pool of the Nectar of Immortality', is one of the major cities of the Punjab state. The administrative headquarters of the Amritsar District, it is the major spiritual and cultural centre of Sikhs. The city, founded in 1577 by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh Guru, is mostly inhabited by the Sikhs. Amritsar has grown from a sacred village pool into a spiritual centre of Sikh culture. The original pool site by which the Golden Temple is built was granted by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. In 1761 Ahmad Shah Durrani sacked the town and destroyed the temple, which was rebuilt in 1764. One of the ancient and charming cities of India, Amritsar is an important distribution centre of dry-fruits in the country. Apart from an important pilgrimage centre, the city is also famous for producing some exquiste items like carpets, fabrics, handicrafts etc.Expenses of personal nature such as tips, telephone calls, laundry & liquor etc.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pathankot - Dalhousie

  Morning arrive Pathankot / Chakki bank train station and drive to Dalhousie. Arrival and check-in to Hotel. Evening visit Saptdhara, Panchpulla, Subhash Bholi and Local Tibetan Market. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

• Day 2 : Dalhousie - Chamba - Khajjiar

  Morning proceeds to Chamba and Visit Places like Bhuri Singh Museum, Chaugan, Laxmi Narayan Temple in Chamba. Then to proceed to Khajjiar, Popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snow capped mountains and pine trees. View the five hills ranging from 1,600 - 2,400 meters offering breathtaking views of the Dhauldhar mountain ranges. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

• Day 3 : Dalhousie - Dharamshala & Local Tour

  Morning proceed by road to Dharamshala, magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. Arrival Dharamshala and visit Local sight seeing: - Tibetan monastery, Bhagsunag Temple, Waterfall, Dal Lake and Church. Evening visit explore local Tibetan market at the Mcleodganj, overnight stay in hotel.

• Day 4 : Kangra Tour

  Morning after breakfast proceeds to visit the Brajeshwari Devi Temple, Kangra Fort, Palampur Tea Garden, Chamunda Devi Temple & Chinmaya Tapovan. Late evening back to Hotel, in Dharamshala. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
