About The Tour: A 13 Nights/ 14 Days classical jeep safari. Over one of the highest Motorable roads in the World and involves crossing over high mountain passes providing spectacular views of snow capped peaks, rugged terrain and old monasteries.Rates do not include any air/train fare.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Amritsar

  Arrive transfer from the Airport/ railway station and check in hotel.
  Evening visit to Golden Temple & Wagah Border o/N Hotel

• Day 2 : Amritsar to Dharamsala (199Kms) 6Hours

  Today After Breakfast and check out from the hotel drive to Dharamsala evening arrive and check in hotel. Over Night at Hotel Dharamsala
• Day 3 : Dharamsala

  This morning visit to Dalai Lama Temple in Mc Leod Ganj. Norbulinka institute, Bhagsunag and Dal lake. O/N Hotel.

  Early in the morning check out from the hotel and drive to Manali. Enroute you can see the Tea garden at Palampur and also visit Shiva Temple at Baijnath, view of Beas River. evening arrive Manali and check in hotel O/N Hotel Manali.
• Day 5 : Manali

  After Breakfast visit to Hidimba Temple,Mannu Temple, Vashisht Temple, tibiten monastery and excursion to Naggar castle aorich art Gallery. O/N Hotel.
• Day 6 : Manali to Kelong (115Kms/3350mts) 5Hours

  Early this morning drive over the Rohtang pass(3980mts) to Keylong. Evening visit to Khardung La, Gompa.O/N Hotel.

• Day 7 : Kelong to Sarchu (114Kms) 6Hours

  After breakfast we leave for Sarchu on the border between Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. Here you can see the nomadic Gaddi people and an army outpost. On our way we stop at Barchala Pass (4892 m). At Barchala, which means "a pass with cross roads," the roads from Ladakh, Zanskar, Lahaul and Spiti intersect. Stay overnight at tents in Sarchu.
• Day 8 : Sarchu to Leh (220Kms) 12Hours

  After early breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Tanglang-La Pass (5350mts) the second highest road in the world and Lachlang-La (5065mts). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. O/N Hotel in Leh.
• Day 9 : Leh local sightseeing (Shey - Thicksey - Hemis - Stok Place - Shanti Stupa)

  After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thicksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Afternoon visit Shanti Stupa. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 10 : Leh - Nubra Valley

  After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a camp.
• Day 11 : Nubra Valley - Leh

  In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 12 : Leh - Pangong Lake excursion - Leh

  Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight in hotel. Overnight in hotel.

• Day 13 : Leh Half Day sightseeing

  Morning is at leisure. Afternoon visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Evening Explore local market. Overnight in hotel.
• Day 14 : Departure Leh

  Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
  Tour ends. but sweet memories always remain.
