White Water Rafting Tour

Package Overview

White water rafting on the river Belá or Dunajec river.
Probably the most beautiful river in the north of Slovakia is river Belá.

Our journey starts near the Kokava´s bridge below Podbanske and finishes in a small town called Liptovský Hrádok. That means about 17 kilometres and 2 hours of rafting.

This river is recommended to experienced rafters or to rafters accompanied by an instructor.

The best conditions are in spring when the snow in the mountain melts down and thus the river has a bigger flow. We can raft only when the water level at Podbanske is between 70 – 120cm.

We also expect the water to be cold so the appropriate equipment is needed.

LOCATION OF RIVER DUNAJEC

It´s quiet and easy location. It is really good for beginners. There are two lenghts of our route. First one starts and finishes on the Slovak side (11km) and the second one is on the Polish side (20km).

Season for this location is from April to October. If we talk about equipment we mean the following: life vest and neoprene clothing which is needed in spring and autumn time. T-shirt, sandals and neoprene trousers are needed in summer time.

LOCATION OF LIPTOVSKÝ MIKULÁŠ – THE AREA OF WATER SLALOM

It is a location suitable for everyone (excluding unexperienced kids).

Level of the course is higher but it is also suitable for unexperienced rafters as you will get an instructor for each boat .

This area is runned by a sport club so we must follow their rules and programme.Lunch

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Itinerary of White Water Rafting Day Tour in Slovakia

  9 AM – 10 AM: Transfer to the location
  After nice breakfast, we´ll take you to the starting point.
  Warm clothes will be useful after the ride.
  Camera will be handy.
  Take a packed lunch with you.

  10 AM – 11 AM: Instructions
  We need to give you short training and instructions + you need to change into the wet suits.

  11 AM – 1 PM: Rafting
  Ride the river Dunajec or river Belá all the way down.
  4
  1 PM – 1.30 PM: Pack your adrenaline
  After fantastic ride and blast of adrenaline it´s time to go home.
  5
  1.30 PM – 2.30 PM: Transfer back
  We will drive you back to your hotel.
