Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Bangalore

  You can arrive Bangalore direct by International airlines operating to Banaglore, or arrive at any International airport and take a domestic flight to Banaglore. On arrival you will be met by M D Tour and Travels representative for assistance and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour of Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka State and India’s 6th largest city. You will be visiting the Vidhan Sabha, Bangalore Palace for photo Mahatma Gandhi Road etc. Return to the hotel for overnight.

  • Hotspots Bangalore Palace
• Day 2 : Bangalore - Mysore 3 hrs.

  After breakfast leave by surface for Mysore. You will be visiting Srirangapatnam- The name comes from the temple of Lord Vishnu Sri Ranganathasvami, which is far older then the fort or the town. The fort was built in 1454 under the Vijaynagara Kings and later handed over to the Hindu Wodeyars of Mysore.
   
  In the 2nd half of the 18th century it became the capital of Haidar Ali who was succeeded by his son Tipu Sultan. Also we will be visiting a unique water bird sanctuary called Ranganathittoo. On arrival at Mysore, installation at your hotel. Afternoon city tour of Maysore visiting the magnificent Mysore Palace, Durga Temple and the Nandi Bull statue. Ovenight will be at Mysore.

• Day 3 : Mysore - Nagarhole National Park. 2 hours

  After breakfast, drive to Nagarhole National Park, Once the reserve forest as hunting grounds of the Maharaja’s of Mysore become National Park in 1955. Covering gentle hills bordering Kerala, it includes swampland, streams, moist deciduous forest, stands of bamboo and valuable timber in teak and rosewood trees, and river Kabini is flowing through the forest.
   
  On arrival check in into Kabini River Lodge- rated as the top 5 wildlife resorts in the world by The Tattlers Travel Guide, a prestigious British travel magazine. The lodges are identical copies of the original Lodge of the Maharajas of Mysore. Just for your information, our Managing Director was directly involved in the making of this Lodge along with Mr. Johan Wakefild and Mr. Romesh Mehra and Karnataka Government.Nagarhole has one of the highest concentrations of Sambar, Chtal, Gaur and Wild Boars, and a great habitat for tiger, leopard and wild dogs.
  
  Afternoon Jungle Excursion by jeeps for game viewing. Besides the big game like elephants, tiger, leopard and Indian bison, the park has rich bird life also. Return to the lodge for overnight.

  • Hotspots Nagarhole National Park, Nagarhole National Park, Mysore
• Day 4 : In Nagahole National Park

  After breakfast full day to explore wildlife in the park, you will do the excursions by jeeps and Coracal, a country boat which is round and difficult to row. You can encounter large herds of elephants, and possibility to see crocodile too. Overnight will be in the lodge.
• Day 5 : Nagarhole National Park - Bandipur 4 hours

  Early morning another Jungle Excursion before we leave by surface for Bandipur. Declared National park in 1973, the park covers approximate are of 874 sq km. With valuable trees like Sandalwood, Teak and Rosewood. The wildlife supported by the park is tiger, leopard, Indian Elephant, gaur, Dhole, chital, sambar, sloth bear, four horned antelope and wild boar.
  
  On arrival installation at the lodge. Afternoon game drive in the park. Return to the lodge after sunset for overnight at the lodge.
• Day 6 : Bandipur - Ooty 2 hours

  Morning there will be another game drive in the park to see the game in its natural habitat. It is also home to over 200 species of birds. The most commonly seen are Grey Jungelfowl, Peafowl and the other once are Red-headed vultures, Indian Vultures, Buzzards, Flowerpeckers, Indian rollers and brown fish owls etc. Later drive to Ooty.
   
  On arrival installation at your hotel. Ooty The queen of the Blue Montains, along with Kotagiri and Coonoor nearby, is famous for its rolling hills coverd in pine and eucalyptus forest and its coffee and tea plantation. Afternoon explore the beauty of Ooty. Overnight will be in the hotel.
• Day 7 : Ooty - Munnar 6 hours.

  After breakfast, continue your drive to Munnar, a beautiful hill station in Kerala which used to be the summer resort of the British in South India. The tea plantations, winding lanes and natural green with rice paddy and coconut trees make Munnar a very place. Check in into your hotel for overnight. Afternoon free to explore the are on foot or go for nature walk in the tea gardens.

• Day 8 : Munnar - Rajamali National Park - Munnar

  After breakfast leave for full day excursion to Rajamali National Park to the highly endangered Nilgairi Tahr. These surefooted wild goats live in herds and found only in this part of the world. The Park has a large population of these goats. The other game is gaur, elephants and macaque besides good variety of birds. As you will be exploring the park mainly by foot, it is recommended to wear your most comfortable walking shoes. Return to Munnar hotel for overnight.
• Day 9 : Munnar - Periyar 4 hours

  After breakfast continue your drive to Periyar National Park. On arrival check in into our lodge and get ready for afternoon excursion to Pariyar. We will drive upto the gate of the reserve and walk to take a boat. This afternoon we will explore the Periyar National Park by boat. The area is home to wild elephants, gaur, wild dogs, wild boar and sambar besides langur and flying squirrel. Return to your lodge for overnight.
• Day 10 : Periyar - Kumarakom

  Breakfast at the hotel. Morning we will do another excursion in the Park to see the wildlife, later leave by surface for Kumarakom. On arrival installation at your hotel overlooking the Vembanad Lake. Rest of the day free to relax, or pamper your body with Ayurvadic massage at the hotel. Evening boat ride on the back waters and on the lake. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 11 : Kumarakom - Cochin - International flight.

  Early morning visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, also known as Vembanad Bird Sanctuary, situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake. The sanctuary was developed by an Englishman and was known as Baker’s Estate. You can find lot of local birds like cuckoo, egret, heron, owl, waterfowl, brahminy kite, duck, darter and cormorant beside the migratory birds like Siberian crane, Parrot, Teal and Lark etc. Return to the hotel for breakfast and leave for Cochin. On arrival at Cochin, city tour of cochin visiting Jewish Quarters, Chinese fishermen net, etc. and transfer to international airport in time to connect your flight for home.
  
  In case if there is no connection from Cochin, then you will be transferred to Bombay and connection to your flight for home.
