Kaziranga:
Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, Kaziranga National Park covers an area of approximately 430-sq-kms with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass making it the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. Due to limitless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940
Major Wildlife Attractions of Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary beside of course the great one horned Indian Rhino, the other major wild attractions include a large population of Indian Elephants, Indian Bison, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hog Deer, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, etc.
Kaziranga National Park is a birding paradise; the grasslands are a raptor country that can be seen on safari and on the whole makes a remarkable experience. These include the Oriental Honey Buzzard, Black-Shouldered Kite, Black Kite, Brahminy Kite, Pallas's Fishing Eagle, White Tailed Eagle, Grey-Headed Fishing Eagle, Himalayan Griffon, etc. Huge numbers of migratory birds descend on the park’s lakes and marshy areas during winters, including Greylag Geese, Bar-Headed Geese, Ruddy Shelduck, Gadwall, Falcated Duck, Red-Crested Pochard and Northern Shoveller

Day 4 : Nameri National Park
Elephant ride in the morning & transfer to Nameri Tiger reserve; stay at Nameri Eco Camp beside Jia Bhoroli River. (accommodation in Swiss cottages with attached western toilets).
Nameri National Park is located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India.Nameri shares its northern boundary with the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal. Together they constitute an area of over 1000 sq.km of semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests with cane and bamboo brakes and narrow strips of open grassland along rivers. This is an excellent elephant country and ideal habitat for a host of other animals including the tiger. Nameri is home to Leopards, Bisons, Sambars, It is also home to the dhole(the asiatic wild dog), Hog Deer, Muntjac, Wild Boar, Sloth Bear, Himalayan Black Bear, Capped Langur, Malayam Giant Squirrel etc., Nameri is a birder's paradise with over 300 species of birds - including the white winged wood duck, four distinct species of the Horn Bill, Bluebeard Bee Eaters, Babblers, Plovers etc.,
Day 5 : Jia Bhorolia
Rafting on Jia Bhorolia in the search of Ibisbill,Marganger, Mallard, Rudy Shelled Duck post lunch trek inside the tiger reserve for game viewing if you are lucky enough you can get a glimpse of spot winged wood duck.
Day 6 : Manas National Park
Transfer to Manas National Park, stay at Bansbari lodge
Manas
Manas tiger reserve is probably one of the most beautiful place on the Earth .Its wild treasures are plentiful . From the untouched hilly terrain of northern region to pristine rainforest to vast grasslands and riverine landscapes, almost all types of forest kinds are present here . From the faunal point of view , Manas contains some of the world’s most endangered birds , reptiles , and mammals . Bengal florican , pigmy hog , great Indian one horned rhinocerous , water buffolo , himalayan black beer , hog deer , barking deer , golden langoor , black capped langoor , mouse deer etc. are some of them . Lots of fauna which are enlisted in the IUCN’s red data book can be found in the manas. Manas is a bird paradise - more than 800 types of birds are available here . One can see 4 types of hornbills . Prey bird population is higher than many other national parks and sanctuaries . Around 70 tigers are roaming in the jungles of Manas . Thousands of Migratory birds come here for their winter homage. Leopard , clouded leopard and other jungle cats are plentiful.
Around 500 types of orchids are available there.t

Jungle safari in Manas NP in search of mammals and birds.
Day 8 : Departure
Transfer to Guwahati for boarding flight/train
