Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Begin your Tour.
  Arrive into Delhi
  Welcome to Vardhman’s ‘Wildlife Tours India ‘. On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transfered by our representative to hotel.
  Later proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi.
  Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi
  Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun’s tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple , a modern Hindu Temple , Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi .
  Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
  Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 :

  After breakfast drive down to Mandawa and upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
  Rest of the day at leisure.
  Overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 :

  Visit Mandawa
  Visit Mukandgarh/Mandwa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum.
  A walking tour of the painted ‘havelis’ of some of the leading business families of the country.

• Day 4 :

  Morning after breakfast drive to Pushkar and transfer to hotel. Relax for a while and later proceed on a city tour of Pushkar.
  City Tour of Pushkar
  Pushkar being one of the most religious places for Hindus has the atmosphere of an ancient religious town.The only temple of God Brahma is in Pushkar thus making Pushkar an important pilgrimage city for Hindus.Pushkar has become famous in the world due to its Pushkar Festival which takes place in the month of November when the whole of Pushkar is transformed into a spectacular fair ground where thousands of pilgrims come to bath in the holy water of Pushkar lake and the biggest cattle and camel markets take place here where Farmers,breeders and camel traders buy and sell.

• Day 5 :

  Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Relax for a while and later proceed on a city tour of Jaipur.

  This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort – which is set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. We will ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant. Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory – The Solar Observatory – an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that give accurate predictions till date. The City Palace reflects a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city and through the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.

• Day 6 :

  Visit the city palace, the palace of winds and then proceed to Amer fort the ancient capital of Jaipur built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh in red sandstone and marble. It has some very intersting apartments like the Sheesh Mahal the glass canopy apartments and Jai Mandir, Sukh Niwas Baodi etc.
  The highlight of this trip is the elephant ride up the ramparts of the fort just like the maharajas did. After this we visit the Jaigarh fort the armoury of the erstwhile state which houses the biggest cannon on wheels in the world.
  Overnight: Hotel.

• Day 7 :

  Drive to Ranthambhore the finest national park of India arriving in the hotel in afternoon.
  Evening visit the old fort which overlooks the national park.
  Full day (two private safaris) at Ranthambhore.(Sanctuary remains close from Jul. to Sep.)
  Overnight: Hotel.

  • Themes : Jungle Safari

• Day 8 :

  Early morning visit the park after breakfast leave for Palpur wildlife sanctuary. On arrival, check into your hotel.
  Overnight: Hotel.

• Day 9 :

  Drive around in the sanctuary visiting a tribal village also.
  Evening drive to Pahargarh fort. and transfer to hotel.
  Overnight: Hotel.

• Day 10 :

  After breakfast a camel safari through villages & jungles to see the cave paintings on the banks of Asan river made thousands of years ago when man was still living in the caves.
  Overnight: Hotel.

  • Themes : Jungle Safari, Camel Safari

• Day 11 :

  We take the road to Agra arriving in Agra in the afternoon.Check in to the hotel.
  In the evening visit Taj Mahal during Sunset (Closed on every Friday).
  Overnight: Hotel.

  • Hotspots : Taj Mahal

• Day 12 :

  This morning after breakfast proceed on a short trip of Agra.
  Visit the Agra Fort a massive complex with exquisite work on pillars and ceiling. Emperor Shajahan the builder of Taj was held captive here by his son Emperor Aurangzeb who usurped the throne. It was from here that Emperor Shahjahn would view the Taj. From there we proceed to the famous Sikandra the mouselum built for the greatest Emperor of the Mughal dynasty Akbar the Great.
  Later in the afternoon drive back to Delhi International airport to board the flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of ‘Wildlife Tours India ” escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
