Package Overview

Photographing is one of the best way to observe and enjoy the beauty of nature. In our wildlife photography tour, you will learn how to capture the wonderful moments of wild mammals, birds, and flowers in some of the most beautiful nature scenery of China following by our professional nature photographer and guide.

Our journey starts with giant panda in the renowned panda breeding center in Chengdu. You will observe giant panda in a close distance and take photos for them at your favorite moment. In the Wild Panda Nature Reserve, we will seek traces of giant panda and their companion mammals in their nature habitat under the guidance of panda experts. We will have a nature photo workshop in the wild, learning photography skills while practicing. When we hiking in the mountains, our nature guide will teach you to identify wild flowers and trees, amphibians & reptiles, birds, bugs etc. through interesting outdoor activities. You will also learn the knowledge about outdoor skills, such as camping, stargazing in this adventure.

Our nature education focus on wildlife and environment conservation. We try to help you find the charm of nature, appreciate what we have and think about what to do to keep all the beauty of nature sustainably. In our eco journey, you will learn how to be a responsible traveler and we encourage you to apply it into your daily life.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chengdu

  Upon arrival in Chengdu. City tour to immerse in the Chinese culture by visiting Kuanzhai alley or Jinli. Welcoming dinner in featured local restaurant, try Sichuan dishes or spicy hotpot.
  Optional activity at night: Sichuan opera, face-changing show
  Overnight: Chengdu
• Day 2 : Chengdu to Wild Panda Nature Reserve

  Visit Chengdu Panda Base. Chengdu panda base is the breeding center that has the most giant pandas in the world. In 2015, there are 13 panda cubs born including 6 pairs of twins. Here you can see panda in different ages. Our photo guide will teach you skills of wildlife photographing and you can practice with taking photos of giant pandas. We drive to Wild Panda Nature Reserve after lunch.
  
  Optional activity at night: explore the eco-loop near the hotel.

• Day 3 : Wild Panda Nature Reserve

  We will spend two days exploring in the reserve and discover the activities of Giant panda and other wildlife. We will search those endangered wildlife, birds and organized a photo workshop. Our target list including Giant panda, Sichuan takin, golden snub-nosed monkey, Asiatic black bear, Tibetan macaque, golden pheasant, Salamander. More Environmental educational activities will be organized that customized for student. At night, we will do stargazing if weather permits, night walk is another option to discover nocturnal creatures such as leopard cats, civets and hog-nosed badgers.

• Day 4 : Wild Panda Nature Reserve

  We will spend two days exploring in the reserve and discover the activities of Giant panda and other wildlife. We will search those endangered wildlife, birds and organized a photo workshop. Our target list including Giant panda, Sichuan takin, golden snub-nosed monkey, Asiatic black bear, Tibetan macaque, golden pheasant, Salamander. • Day 5 : Wild Panda Nature Reserve to Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve

  Today we leave the d head toward Jiuzhaigou national nature reserve. Stretching over 72,000 hectares in the northern part of Sichuan Province, the Jiuzhai valley reaches a height of more than 4,800 m, thus comprising a series of diverse forest ecosystems. Here lives about 220 bird species as well as a number of endangered animal and plant species, including the giant panda, Sichuan golden monkey, the Sichuan takin and numerous orchids and rhododendrons. Its superb landscapes are particularly interesting for their series of narrow conic karst land forms and spectacular waterfalls.
  
  Overnight : Jiuzhaigou
• Day 6 : Jiuzhaigou National Nature Reserve

  Jiuzhaigou is also a heaven of alpine birds. Today we will search bird in the valley with professional bird guides. You will learn how to attract birds, bird photography skill and much more knowledge about birds.
  
  There goes a saying: no mountain is worth seeing after Mt. Huangshan and no other water will be of interest after Jiuzhaigou. Today we will learn about landscape photographing especially for the fascinating water in Jiuzhaigou.
  
  Overnight:Jiuzhaigou
• Day 7 : Fairy Pond

  Today we will have a day-tour to Fairy Pond which lies 42 km (26 mi) west of Jiuzhaigou and features travertine pools. Pools of various shapes and sizes are scattered throughout the lush forest. In Tibetan, the Fairy Pool is called Nen'en Sangcuo. It means a place where fairies bathe. In addition to the lakes, the area has the best preserved virgin forest and the greatest density of arrow bamboo in Sichuan Province.
  
  Overnight:Jiuzhaigou
• Day 8 : Fly back home via Chengdu
