Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

    Arrive Delhi and meet the representative at the arrival hall and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 : Delhi - Guwahati (By Flight)

    Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Rest of the day is free for individual activities or relaxation. Overnight at the Hotel/Resort.

  • Day 3 : Guwahati - Manas National Park

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Manas National Park (approx. 150Kms / 04 hours). It is situated on the foothills of the Himalaya, in the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in Assam. It lies on the international border with Bhutan.
    Manas is the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat in India, comparable to the best in the world in the beauty of its spectacular landscape. It is bounded on the north by the Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan, on the south by populous North Kamrup district and on both east and west by buffer forest reserves which are part of 2,840 sq. Km Manas Tiger reserve. It was created as a project tiger reserve in the year 1973 and declared national park in the year 1973. It is also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage (in danger) site, a Project Tiger Reserve, an Elephant Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve - a unique distinction. This Brahmaputra Valley semi-evergreen forest Terrestrial Eco-region is also the richest in species of all Indian wildlife areas and the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog.

    Upon arrival check-in at the forest resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon jungle safari to the national park to explore its flora & fauna. Stay overnight at the resort/ hotel.

  • Day 4 : Manas National Park

    Morning and afternoon jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at resort.
    Manas national park is habitat for 55 mammals, 50 reptiles and three amphibians’ species. At least 33 of its animals listed as threatened by the IUCN, this is the greatest number of any protected area in the country. These threatened species are the Assam Roofed turtle Kachuga sylhetensis, Golden Langur Presbytis geei, Hispid Hare and the only pure strain of Asiatic Wild Buffalo Bubalus arnee. Stay overnight at the resort/ hotel.

  • Day 5 : Manas National Park - Nameri National park

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Nameri National Park (approx. 290Kms / 06 hours). Nameri national Park covering an area of 200 Sq. Kms nestled at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. It is famous for the high density of elephant population.
    Nameri National Park covers an area of 200 Sq. Kms. With river Jia Bhoroli bifurcating the park, it is the most scenic of all the national parks of Assam. It’s in the eastern border of Assam in the valley and mountainous Arunachal Pradesh, Nameri is home to some of the endangered species like white winged wood duck, Sloth Bear, Tiger Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian Wild Dog, four varieties of Hornbill and many other winged species. The other reason Nameri is famous for, is the herds of elephants. The park have a high density of elephant population and due to lessening of forest cover, they sometimes invade human inhabited villages, which have attracted the attention of wildlife conservationists worldwide.

    Upon arrival check-in at the camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Evening is free for leisure walks around the camp site or individual activities. Stay overnight at the Camp.

  • Day 6 : Nameri National Park

    Morning after breakfast a guided trekking through Forest reserve to explore its major wildlife. Afternoon enjoy river rafting. Evening is free to for leisure walks around the camp site or individual activities. Overnight at the Camp.

  • Day 7 : Nameri National Park - Kaziranga National Park

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 90Kms / 02 hours).Kaziranga national park which is mainly famous for Indian one Horned Rhinoceros. Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, with covering an area of approximately 430-sq-kms, with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass, making Kaziranga National Park the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. Due to limitless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940.

    Upon arrival check-in at the resort/ Camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon Jeep safari to the National park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.

  • Day 8 : Kaziranga National Park

    Today will awake a little early with a wake call, half an hour before we will head for our morning elephant safari (05:30 am to 06:30 am) to the national park for wildlife viewing. Return back to resort/Camp for breakfast. After breakfast jeep safari (either central or western range). Return to camp for lunch and later go on a jeep safari to the national park (if visited central range in the morning then western range or vice versa). Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
    Apart from the great one horned Indian Rhino, the other major wild attractions include a large population of Indian Elephants, Indian Bison, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hog Deer, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, etc.

  • Day 9 : Kaziranga National Park

    Today after breakfast, continue with our wild safari with Kaziranga on the consecutive day to explore the more wildlife. We will be doing the jungle safari as per the very previous day. We will enter twice to the national park visiting either central or western range first. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.

  • Day 10 : Kaziranga National Park - Dibru Saikhowa National Park

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Dibru Saikhowa National Park (approx. 335Kms / 07 hours). This bird's paradise Dibru Saikhowa, situated in the south bank for Brahmaputra. The Dibru-Saikhowa national park or biosphere reserve is famous for its vibrant wildlife and its pristine scenic beauty. The park is home to many rare and endangered species of wildlife. The semi-evergreen forests and littoral and swamp forests is home of about 36 species of mammals and above 400 species of avifauna.

    Upon arrival check-in at the Forest lodge/Camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Evening is free to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Overnight at the Forest lodge/Camp.

  • Day 11 : Dibru Saikhowa National Park

    Full days birding by boat and on foot. We will be birding in grasslands, swamps and forest habitat. Overnight at the Forest lodge/Camp.

    The commonly found avifauna here includes Greater Adjutant Stork, Lesser Adjutant Stork, Great Grebe, Indian Shag, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Night Heron, Yellow Bittern, Openbill Stork, Black Stork, Large Whistling Teal, Greylag Goose, Pallas's Fishing Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Crested Serpent Eagle, Spot Billed Pelican, White Winged Duck, Baer's Pochard, Greater Spotted Eagle, Bengal Florican, Great Pied Hornbill, March Babbler, Jerdon's Babbler, Black Breasted Parrotbill etc.

  • Day 12 : Dibru Saikhowa National Park - Namdapha National Park

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Namdapha National Park. We will drive to Deban, via Digboi and Miao, entering the State of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way we will be making stops for birding between Miao and Deban.

    Upon arrival at Deban, check-in at the Forest lodge/Camp. Later, we will spend the afternoon birding alongside the river Noa Dihing that flows adjacent to the forest lodge. Overnight at the Forest lodge/Camp.

  • Day 13 : Namdapha National Park

    After breakfast, we will spend full day birding in Namdapha & surroundings area. During our birding trip to Namdapha, we will counter with following species of birds and many more like Ibisbill, Long- billed Plover, White-bellied Heron, Crested and Blyth's Kingfisher, Black-breasted Thrush, Slender-billed Scimitar-Babbler, Snowy throated Babbler, Rufous-necked Laughingthrush, Pale Blue Flycatcher, Large-billed Leaf Warbler, Lesser Fish Eagle, Sultan Tit, Beautiful Nuthatch, White-naped Yuhina, Great, Wreathed, Rufous-necked and Brown Hornbills, White-cheeked Partridge, Pale-headed Woodpecker, Blue-naped Pitta, Collared Treepie, Wedge-billed Wren Babbler, Greater and Lesser Rufous-headed Parrotbills, Chestnut-backed Laughingthrush, Rufous-throated Fulvetta, Green Cochoa, and Dark-sided Thrush. Overnight at the Forest lodge/Camp.

  • Day 14 : Namdapha National Park - Dibrugarh

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Dibrugarh (approx. 175Kms / 05 hours) via Deban. On the way we will be making stops for birding between Miao and Deban. Dibrugarh is known as the tea capital of Assam because of the numerous tea estates that surrounds this town. Situated on the banks of the River Brahmaputra, Dibrugarh is surrounded by tea gardens with the misty outlines of the Himalayas in the background - Dibrugarh is the largest tea exporting town in India. One can go around the tea gardens which are located in and around the town. A large number of tea estates are located along highway covering large area of Dibrugarh district. Sometimes it is referred as the gateway to some districts of Arunachal Pradesh.
    Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Evening is free to for individual activities or relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 15 : Dibrugarh - Delhi / Kolkata (By Flight)

    Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi / Kolkata. Upon arrival, rest of the day is free to explore the city or for individual activities.
    Late night transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
