Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive at international airport. Upon arrival, assistance by our representatives and transfer to hotel.
Delhi The capital of Republic of India, Delhi is a bustling metropolis and a city of almost 17 million inhabitants. Delhi is a near perfect blend of the ancient and the modern and is seamlessly divided into two parts - Old & New Delhi. Old Delhi is part of the city that was designed by the Mughals and New Delhi was designed majorly during English rule and also known as "Lyutens" Delhi.
Overnight, stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast guests will be taken for the visit at the old Delhi which is the former center of Mughal Power, Old Delhi offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Drive past the Red Fort, built in 1648 and board the ‘rickshaw ride’ for a unique experience from the Red Fort, through "Chandni Chowk" or Silver Street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this very busy avenue-heading west from the Fort. Later visit the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal, and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
After lunch guests will be taken for the visit at New Delhi. Guests will drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate & the Presidential Palace. Continue onto the beautiful Humayun’s tomb of the Mughal era & predecessor of the world famous Taj Mahal. End the tour at the towering minaret of Qutub Minar, the pride of Delhi. The soaring conical tower is an exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture
Overnight, stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi - Corbett
After breakfast, drive to Corbett which is 295 kms away from Delhi. Upon arrival to Corbett check in at hotel. Here guests will rest for a while. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 : Corbett National Park
After breakfast guests will leave for the jeep safari into the park of wildlife for viewing the tigers.
Corbett has the highest density of Tiger in the country-- approximately one every 10 sq km and it was here that the prestigious "Project Tiger" was launched in 1973. Four species of deer - hog deer, sambar, chital and barking deer and other prey like the wild boar, are fodder for the tiger. Besides the tiger, Corbett is a haven for 50 mammals, 580 kinds of birds and 25 reptile species. The park has elephants, the Himalayan black bear in the higher elevations, sloth bear, varieties of lesser cats, dhole the wild dog and an entire spectrum of colorful birds including water birds, pheasants, jungle fowl and the Indian horn bill.
Rest of the day is free for their leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Corbett - Unchagaon
Early morning after breakfast guests will leave jeep safari to spot tigers.
Later in the afternoon after lunch guests will proceed towards Unchagaon which is 201 kms away from Corbett. Reaching Unchagaon, guests will check-in Unchagaon Fort.
Dinner and overnight stay at the fort.
Day 6 : Uchangaon - Agra
After breakfast leave for Agra which is 175 kms away from Unchagaon. Upon arrival, guests will meet their representative and check in at hotel.
Afternoon proceed for the visit of Taj Mahal -This most famous Moghul monument was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal "the lady of the Taj". It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, for the emperor was heartbroken when Mumtaz died after 17 years of marriage, during the birth of her 14th child. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday).
Also visit to Red Fort - lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 : Agra - Bharatpur
After breakfast guests will drive towards Bharatpur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri - the impressive sandstone fortress was built in the 16th century and only occupied for a few years before being abandoned, leaving the buildings in virtually perfect conditions. Continue your drive to Bharatpur and check into your hotel.
Afternoon explore Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary and enjoy the visit with Rickshaw ride. Board This is natural world and no less worth seeing than the marble mausoleum of the Taj. Here over 350 species of birds find refuge in the 29 sq. kms of shallow lakes & wood lands of the park. November to Feb is the best period to see migratory birds in this park.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 : Bharatpur - Ranthambore
After breakfast guests will drive towards Bharatpur to view the bird sanctuary. Later board the train from Bharatpur Railway Station to Ranthambore.
Upon arrival in Ranthambore, guests will meet their representatives and will be transferred to hotel in Ranthambore.
Ranthambore National Park is the reowned national park, it is 400 sqkms of dry deciduous forest, perfect natural habitat for tigers, and is set in the Aravalli and Vindhya hills, dotted with pavillions and dominated by a hilltop fort. Ranthambore was one of the hunting preserves of the former rulers of Jaipur and because of this the Maharajas ensured the environment was preserved and the forest and their inhabitants well protected. It has a good population of tiger and their prey species, and has been declared a "Project Tiger" reserve. The park was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 : Ranthambore
Guests will be leaving for a jungle safari at Ranthambore National Park for viewing the natural habitat of the wildlife.
Return to hotel for breakfast and relax at the hotel.
Afternoon leave for one more park safari to the park.
Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 : Ranthambore - Delhi
After breakfast, day free for own activities at hotel/resort.
After lunch guests will board a train from Sawai Madhopur Railway Station towards Delhi. Arrive and transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
