Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi

  JAMBO - KARIBU!! Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport, Inclusive Holidays Africa representatives will warmly meet you and welcome you to Kenya. We then transfer to our hotel, located in a serene environment away from the busy central business district; offering peace of heart and mind, a nice place to relax and unwind before you begin your safari. Nairobi is Kenya’s principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. Nairobi means ‘place of cool waters’ in the Maasai language. Our representative will help you through check-in and make sure you settled in well.

• Day 2 : Fly Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

  Breakfast is served at the Hotel then transferred to Wilson airport for your scheduled flight Nairobi/Amboseli 0730/0900Hrs. On arrival at Amboseli airstrip, met by lodge’s 4x4 vehicle and proceed to the lodge with en-route game drives at the park which provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing volcanic mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of 'giant' elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts - lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park is also an ornithological paradise with over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa.
  Enjoy some delicious lunch at your lodge and later embark on an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the 'big five' among other animals. Her breath-taking scenery - one of the best places for a photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro; weather permitting is next to none.

• Day 3 : Amboseli National Park

  Full day spent in Amboseli National Park. Starting with an early morning game drive, return for breakfast in the hotel, thereafter the rest of the morning is at leisure. Enjoy lunch and some leisure time, before, later in the afternoon heading out for yet another game viewing drive on this majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains' game. Thereafter return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

• Day 4 : Fly Amboseli National Park - Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

  After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight Amboseli/Nairobi 0905/0950Hrs and connect with your onward flight Nairobi/Samburu 1020/1140Hrs. On arrival Samburu airstrip you will be met by the camps 4x4 and transfer to the camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon embark on a game drive in this reserve - the best place to find several endemic Northern species; including the Gerenuk (twiga gazelle) due to her long neck, the beisa Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Somali ostrich and Grevy’s Zebra. Shaba is also an ornithological paradise, home to many birds including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture and the Vinaceous Dove. Leopards are often seen at dusk. The Samburu culture is a truly fascinating one, sharing a great deal of ancestral and linguistic ties to the Maasai. The entire Samburu region is a place of breath-taking and magical beauty, a place where the vision of a deep red sunset silhouetting the doum palms along the river as a leopard emerges to hunt brings the perfect end to a day on safari...
  

• Day 5 : Samburu National Reserve

  After an early breakfast enjoy a full day of game viewing drives in samburu National Reserve. The verdant riverine forest along the Ewaso Nyiro River is a stark contrast to the arid thorn studded plains. Packs of African Hunting Dogs are some of the animals you may see during your game viewing. Our driver guide will carefully select an amazing picnic site with a great scenic view where you will take your picnic lunches before venturing into the bush once again! Be on the look-out for the 'special five of Samburu', other wildlife and a large number of bird species.
  

• Day 6 : Fly Samburu National Reserve- Masai Mara Game Reserve

  Today after breakfast at the Camp, check-out and transfer to the Samburu airstrip for your scheduled morning flight Samburu/Masai Mara 0910/1100Hrs. On arrival at Mara Serena airstrip, met on lodges 4x4 vehicle and transfer to the lodge. This afternoon is the moment we have been longing for – we depart on an exciting game viewing drive. The Rolling plains and grasslands, stretching far into the horizons as far as the eye can see is home to the black-manned lion, the Savannah elephant, the Cape buffalo, wildebeests, the elusive leopard, cheetah, the
  spotted & stripped hyena, the rhino, topi, burchelle’s zebra, the Masai giraffe among many others. The Mara game reserve is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve..... For a long time, Mara Game Reserve has stubbed her authority as the ‘granary’ of wildlife in Kenya. We return back to the lodge before dusk.
  

• Day 7 : Masai Mara Game Reserve

  Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in search of the 'big five'. Masai Mara is the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife Game Reserves. It is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffes, and vast herds of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains game.
  OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Today’s adventure begins just before dawn. Flames from the hot air balloon burners light the darkness as the crew inflate their craft. The first, pink tongues of sunlight flicker across the skies and the hot air balloon fills then rises. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-coloured canopy, you're off for a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. Apart from the occasional hiss of the burners, a lion's roar, elephants crashing through the bush, baboons perched in the tips of the trees startled and screeching to see something above them, the flight above the Masai Mara plains is magically silent. At the end of the flight, the passengers are treated to a champagne breakfast in the bush, complete with flowers. China and crystal are set out on the table that is placed under a convenient acacia tree. The finishing touch to the flight is a game drive back to the camp, and the possibility of seeing the same pride of lions, or herd of elephants that had been viewed while ballooning. A flight certificate is issued on completion of the balloon safari.
  Back at Camp enjoy a sumptuous lunch and a well-deserved rest. Continue with your afternoon game viewing drive before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 9 : Fly Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi & Depart

  Breakfast at your lodge, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your morning scheduled flight Mara/Wilson 1100Hrs/1215Hrs as you take the last glimpse of the lifetime experience you just had. On arrival at Wilson airport Inclusive Holidays Africa team will be waiting to meet you and proceed to Karen restaurant for your farewell lunch. After lunch we visit giraffe centre where we will have a rare opportunity to feed the giraffes. From here you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport in time for your onward international flight.
