Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Bagdogra by Flight Bagdogra to Gangtok by surface (124 kms / 5 hours)

In the morning, board your flight to Bagdogra. You will meet a Make My Trip representative. Later, drive to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 meters). On arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Gangtok

After breakfast, depart for an excursion to Tshangu Lake. Further 10 kms from Tshangu Lake is where the legendary Baba Mandir is situated. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Gangtok

After buffet breakfast, drive to Rumtek Monastery (24 Kms), Do-drul Chorten or Stupa. Know more about the Tibetology, Cottage Industry and the Flower Show. Next, visit the Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom & Flower Show which is a flower exhibition organized every year at the Flower Show venue near the White Hall Complex, Gangtok. Spend evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Gangtok - Namchi - Pelling by surface (127 kms / 6 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Pelling. En-route, visit the famous tourist places Char Dham and Samdruptse Hill in Namchi. Later, drive to Pelling in the afternoon. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Pelling - Darjeeling by surface (110 kms / 5 hours)

After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing to Rimbi Waterfalls and Hydro Project, Kanchenjunga Waterfalls and Khecheopalri Lake (30 kms / 6000 Ft / 1829 Mts). In the afternoon, depart for Darjeeling. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Darjeeling

Today morning at 4 am, visit Tiger Hills before the break of dawn to see the sun rise over Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world (subject to clear weather). On your way, stop at Batasia Loop. Return hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, go for a full-day excursion to Mirik Lake (Boating & mule ride would be on direct payment basis) and Pashupati market. Later, return to Darjeeling. In the evening, you can walk around the streets of the colonial city, Darjeeling. Stay overnight at the hotel.
