Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : ARRIVE BAKU

    After arrival at Baku airport, you will be transferred to your hotel by private car (Packed Dinner). Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Baku | Meals - Packed Dinner

  • Day 2 : BAKU - CITY TOUR

    Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for City Tour Baku – The tour starts in the morning. First, a friendly driver meets you in the lobby of the hotel & accompany you to the memorial places in Baku City.
    Tour in Old City Baku (Icherisheher) – The guests will be taken to the Old City – Historical monument of Baku. The Old City of Baku is protected with the Preservation walls that have remained since the 6th century. The driver introduces the Old City's history to the guests while they are travelling. The historical places, such as Karvansaray, Maiden Tower, old labyrinth streets, mosques, and small souvenir shops are shown by the driver during the Old city tour.
    Shirvanshah Palace - Here the guests visit Azerbaijani historical museum Shirvanshah Palace which is among the monuments within the Old City. In the mentioned museum tourists will enter the throne room, shah's burial place, mosque, tomb, and shah's bathroom.
    Miniature Book Museum - The Baku Museum of Miniature Books is the only museum of miniature books in the world, settled in the old part of Baku, called Inner City. The museum started its operation on April 2, 2002. In 2015 the Museum of Miniature Books was presented the Certificate of the Guinness Book of Records as the largest private museum of miniature books.
    Maiden Tower - The Maiden Tower (Azerbaijani: Qiz qalasi) is a 12th-century monument in the Old City, Baku, Azerbaijan. Along with the Shirvanshahs' Palace, dated to the 15th century, it forms a group of historic monuments listed in 2001 under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments as cultural property, Category III. It is one of Azerbaijan's most distinctive national emblems, and is thus featured on Azerbaijani currency notes and official letterheads. The Maiden Tower houses a museum, which presents the story of the historic evolution of Baku city. It also has a gift shop. The view from the roof takes in the alleys and minarets of the Old City, the Baku Boulevard, the house of Isa bek Hajinski and a wide vista of the Baku Bay. The Tower is covered by cloud of mysteries and legends which are rooted to the history and culture of Azerbaijan. Indeed, some epics became a subject for scenario for ballets and theatre's plays. The Maiden Tower (ballet) is a world-class Azerbaijani ballet created by Afrasiyab Badalbeyli in 1940 and ballet's remake was performed in 1999.
    Consequent to the receding of the sea shoreline of the Caspian Sea, a strip of land emerged. This land was developed between the 9th and 15th centuries, when the walls of the old city, the palace including the huge bastion of the Maiden Tower were built.
    Heydar Aliyev Center - The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2(619,000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev (1923-2003), the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

  • Day 3 : BAKU – GABALA TOUR

    Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for a full day Gabala tour – The tour starts in the morning. First, a friendly driver meets you in the lobby of the hotel & accompany you to the memorial places in Gabala City.
    Reaching Gabala. Tufandag: one of the longest teleferic of the world. Whether for skiing or just for memorable summer views of the Alpine scenery behind Gabala, jump aboard the Tufandag network of four cable cars.
    Tufandag Winter- Summer Tourist Complex is located 4 kilometers far from Gabala city. The resort allows visitors to enjoy different extreme sports and tourism activities in harmony with nature. Tufandag complex provides skiing in winter, going up to the mountains by cable cars in summer, mountain climbing by ATV quad bikes and other types of entertainment. Nohurgol Lake - The lake is surrounded by a forest. You can walk around or sail on a boat. Nohur Lake is one of the most popular and visited natural attractions of Gabala, Azerbaijan. Located about 5 km east of the Gabala City, the lake is surrounded by the forest and high mountains called Yumru, Goydag and Gulluburun. The lake covers 240 ha in total and has the maximum depth 24 meters.
    Yeddi Gozel Waterfall - Other major attractions are the exotic Yeddi Gozel (Seven beauties) waterfalls. This waterfall is near Ruskan village. The highest waterfall in the country – Michekhchadaur (53 meters in height) at the Demiraparanchay river gorge. Yeddi Gozel waterfalls in Gabala, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gabala, are 6 kilometers from Vandam village and 3 km from the main track over Puskan. Here, water from various ravines forms a seven-step waterfall. Only two small waterfalls are visible below. To look at the other five waterfalls, you have to climb up the stairs, requires
    some physical strength. However, those who are going through this difficult path await a mysterious panorama. There is also a restaurant and a tea house. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affection
    by the sun's rays.

  • Day 4 : BAKU - ABSHERON + GOBUSTAN TOUR

    Breakfast at hotel. Today proceed for Absheron tour - In the morning, meet your driver at your hotel in Baku. Absheron Tour will start with Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple) - Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash" is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was; abandoned in the late 19th century, probably due to the dwindling of the Indian population in the area. The natural "eternal flame" went out in 1969, after nearly a century of exploitation of petroleum and gas in the area, but is now lit by gas piped from the nearby city.
    Trip to "Fire Mountain” – “Yanardag” – a mountain on Absheron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word "Yanardag" means "Blazing Mountain". Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the "land of fire." Then proceed for Gobustan tour – Tour starts with Qobustan which is best known for being the home to the famous rock petroglyphs and mud volcanoes. The area has been settled since the 8th millennium BC. It is known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 square km depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations and animals. Its oldest petroglyphs date from the 12th century BC. In 2007, UNESCO included the 'Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape' in the World Heritage list.
    Visit to the Bibi-Heybat Mosque - historical Mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan. The existing structure, built in the 1990s, is a recreation of the mosque with the same name built in the 13th century by Shirvanshah Farrukhzad II Ibn Ahsitan II. Dinner at Indian Restaurant.   • Day 5 : BAKU – FLY – TBILISI – GUDAURI

    Breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel and transfer to Baku Airport for your flight to Tbilisi. After arrival at Tbilisi,
    you will be transferred to Gudauri and Check into your hotel. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight at hotel. Overnight in Gudauri | Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 6 : GUDAURI – KAZBEGI TOUR

    Breakfast at hotel. Today proceed for Kazbegi tour - Kazbegi/Stepanstminda and its famouns landmark – Gergety Trinity Church – one of the most famous destinations in Georgia. Stepantsminda is a small highland town surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. Everyone comes here to enjoy the view from the unique Gergety Trinity Church built in the 14th century. The church stands at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi.

  • Day 7 : GUDAURI – TBILISI – ENROUTE VISIT TO MTSHKETA & ANNANURI

    Breakfast at Hotel. Check out from hotel and transfer to Tbilisi
    Hotel. Enroute – visit Mtshketa & Annauri. Mtshketa - Trip to Mtskheta - the first capital of Georgia, Visiting UNESCO Heritage places Jvari Monastery - a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. It is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Svetitskhoveli Church is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral, A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is currently the second largest church building in Georgia. Annanuri - Today we will have an exciting trip along the Georgian Military Road to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Georgian landscapes. During this journey you will visit: Zhinvali Reservoir – picturesque water reservoir. Ananuri Fortress - medieval defensive fortress, built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list. Arch of Friendship near Gudauri - the monument is a circular balcony hanging off of a 600 meter cliff with amazing views of Caucasus Mountains. Not everyone is brave enough to step on the very edge of the balcony, but the memories are sure worth it! Drop at Tbilisi hotel. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 8 : TBILISI – CITY TOUR WITH CHRONICLE OF GEORGIA

    Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for City tour of Tbilisi and Chronical of Georgia - Starting the tour from the Holy Trinity Cathedral commonly known as Sameba Cathedral. Built in 2004, Sameba is the highest church in Georgia, it is 101m tall.
    Then we move forward to the old city, starting with the most famous areas called Abanotubani (area of the baths). Here we will visit the below landmarks:
    Abanotubani - the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulfuric baths.
    Leghvtakhevi Waterfall which is 22 meters tall. The name Leghvtakhevi comes from Georgian word "Leghvi" which means fig.
    Narikala Fortress - you can notice this place from many sides of Tbilisi. Overlooking the Mtkvari River, Narikala offers stunning views on the city. You can enjoy a cable car ride to or from the area of Narikala.
    Kartlis Deda (the mother of Georgia) – proudly overlooking the city, 20m aluminum woman is the symbol of the city. Then we continue to explore the city on the other side of the river:
    Metekhi - historical neighborhood of Tbilisi, located on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari River.
    Rike Park - one of the newest parks located in the heart of Tbilisi.
    It leads us to the famous Bridge of Peace - bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi. Chronicle of Georgia: The Chronicle of Georgia is a monument located on Keeni Hill near the Tbilisi Sea. It is a huge stone monument that goes by many different names. Often called "The Georgian Stonehenge" or "History Memorial of Georgia”, the Chronicle monument is a collective of astonishingly huge pillars on top of a hill and with a very special vibe to it. The massive monuments that tell the history of Georgia. The medieval-looking Georgian script found near the pillars, that also tell the Georgian Chronicle. The small Georgian Orthodox
    church next to the memorial. One of the best views found in the city, a panoramic view of the Tbilisi Sea, its nature, and the communist-era buildings of the Tbilisi suburbs. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight at hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi | Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 9 : TBILISI – KAKHETI TOUR – DEPARTURE

    Breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel. Proceed for Kakheti tour - Day trip to wine region – Kakheti.
    First stop in KTW Corporation Winery, one of the largest wine factories of Kakheti region, tour around the factory, degustation of famous Georgia wines after the tour Continuation of the journey, visiting:
    The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodelled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.
    Sighnaghi is endowed with significant historic and cultural heritage sites. Its charming cobblestone streets and alleys, restored original nouveau woodwork, and detailed facades give the town a romantic mystique. The town sits atop a bluff overlooking the Alazani Valley, which is one of Georgia's most famous wine-producing regions. Stunning view of the Alazani Valley make Sighnaghi one of Georgia's most attractive small towns.
    Post tour transfer to Tbilisi airport for your return flight – enroute dinner at Indian restaurant.
