Day 1 : Arrival at Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International airport by TG 303 (08:45), meet and greet by your guide and transfer to hotel. Until recently Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British transformed it into their administrative centre of future India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Asia. Lunch at Hotel. Visit Chaukhtatgyi pagoda (colossal reclining Buddha Image), Karaweik known to be a royal barge on the royal lake for the fantastic photo view downtown Yangon with colonial atmosphere. Evening stroll around hustle and bustle China town. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Excursion Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. Yangon city tour features: Vegetable market, Fish market, Botataung Pagoda said to have enshrinement of Buddha hair relic, Sule Pagoda, the independence monument and high court to observe the colonial styled red-bricked buildings. Lunch at Monsoon restaurant and continue visit Bogyoke market famous shopping center to enjoy display of Myanmar superlative handicrafts. Visit of Shwedagon Pagoda, claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand six hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Kyaikhtiyo (190 km, approx 6 hours). En-route stop at the Shwenyaungpin Nat shrine to appeal for a safe journey. Lunch at Sein Le’ Tin restaurant. Upon arrival at Kim pun base camp, board on an open truck for (11 km, approx 45 min) steep and dirt road leads to the upper staging point of Yathetaung camp. Continue walk up (4 km, approx 45 min) to the renowned Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site 1180 meters above sea level. As an easier alternative to walking, four porters at an extra cost can carry you in a sedan chair. The rock is completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of the cliff. The Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, 7.3 meters high, built on a gold-gilded boulder, 25 meters in circumference, and balanced in what appears to be a very precarious position on a tabular rock jutting out from a ridge in the Eastern Yoma Mountains. Kyaikhtiyo is likely to be one of Myanmar’s most spiritual experiences. Overnight at hotel.
It's suggested that you pack an overnight bag for the one-night stop in Kyaikhtiyo - the remainder of your luggage can be taken to the hotel in Yangon.
Day 4 : Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. Return to the base camp by open truck, meet your driver and proceed to Bago (110 km, approx 3.5 hour). Visit region highest Shwemawdaw Pagoda of 114 meter height and a walk to the Hinthagone Pagoda, the place where Bago was founded. Continue visit the world oldest and authentic reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha Image measuring 55 meters long and 16 meter high. If time permits visit "Kambawzathadi" palace site surrounding a former Mon palace ground. Proceed to Yangon (80 km, approx 1.5 hour). Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake
Breakfast at hotel and check out the hotel and transfer to Yangon Airport for your bound flight to Heho (AWM-751 11:00-12:10) (Check in time at Yangon airport (10:00), time to depart your hotel 09:30). Upon arrival at Heho airport, proceed to Nyaung Shwe (27 km, approx 1 hour). Lunch at local restaurant and visit around Nyaung Shwe lively town. Later boat transfer to Khaung Daing village and check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Excursion Inle Lake
Breakfast at hotel and excursion to Indein ancient Pagoda ruin complex (about 45 minute) built in the 8th century and rows of shops are famous. The regular 5 day market schedule to be held here to day to make your visit a special one. Return to Inle Lake. Continue visit the Ywarma, the lake’s down town. You can also visit the gold smith workshops, the sculpture and umbrella industries. Myay Ni Gone Village to see weaving of fabrics from lotus. Nga Phe Chaung Village, to visit and ancient monastery built on huge pieces of teak wood with traditional architecture and finally Kay Lar Village to observe floating plantations. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Inle - Pindaya
Breakfast at hotel and depart to Pindaya (91 km, approx 3 hours). Pindaya, situate at the foot of Mene-Taung range is known to the world as the home of the countless Buddha Images in its extensive lime stone caves and picturesque lake. The road to Pindaya winds over the rolling hills of the Shan plateau through colorful mustard and wheat field. The limestone caves contain a maze of chambers with several thousand of Buddha statues. Some of them are tiny, others are huge, and are made of white marble, alabaster, bronze or plaster, coated with gold leaf. Some of the smaller caves within the complex serve as meditation chambers. Explore around wonder of the mystery cave and near by Po O traditional paper umbrella making process. Check in the Conqueror hotel. Lunch at Green Tea restaurant. Visit to Shwe Oo Min caves pagoda and continue visit home made paper and umbrella making. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Pindaya - Heho - Kyaingtong
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Heho airport for your Kyaingtong bound flight (W9-119 12:55-15:30) (check in time at Heho airport (11:55), time to depart from hotel (10:30).Packed lunch on the way. Upon arrival at Kyaingtong airport, transfer to your hotel. After a brief fresh up visit Shan traditional lacquer-ware and monastery. Sunset from the one tree hill (where a 245 year old Kanyinbyu tree stands). Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Kyaing Tong - Hochin - Kyaing Tong
Breakfast at hotel. Visit twice weekly water buffalo market (if schedule permits) where buyers and sellers trade their cattle and continue by truck (approx 1 hour) and hike (approx 1.5 hour) to “Hochin" Akha village. Continue (approx 30 min) to Nephi Phank where Lahu and Akha tribes living together.Packed lunch at one of the villages. Return to the car and continue visit Mongzine Kuhn village to observe traditional Lahu black smith work. Return to Kyaingetong. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Kyaing Tong - Pintauk - Kyaing Tong
Breakfast at hotel. Visit enchanting market, meeting point for many hill tribe people with their colorful costume dealing with local antique and old coins. Proceed by truck (approx 1 hour) to the Pintauk Akha with an over view to the plain rice fields. Visit Akha and Enn tribe villages, some are Baptist, some still animist. The Enn tribe lives on the higher slopes and possess distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other tribes particularly interest with their black teeth. Packed lunch at one of the villages. Late afternoon return to Kyaingtong. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Kyaing Tong - Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. and visit Wanpauk village of palaung tribe people to observe silver Palaung tribe wearing their distinctive costume on their daily life, half an hour drive. Transfer to airport, flight (W9-120 14:05-15:45) . Packed lunch on the way. Mandalay is the last kingdom as well as the center of Myanmar cultural and tradition. Upon arrival at Mandalay airport, proceed to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Excursion Mingun - Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Mayan Chan jetty, 20 minutes drive and board on privately chartered boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwady river (11 km, approx 1 hour). Observe the world's largest ringing bell weighing 90 ton and Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remain. After a visit of beautiful Myatheintan Pagoda, return to Mandalay. Visit local handicraft making process such as gold leaf hammering, tapestry weaving, stone carving etc. Visit with foot of Mandalay hill, visit Shwenandaw "Golden Palace Monastery" to observe finest example of Myanmar wooden art and Kuthodaw Pagoda, which claims to house the world's largest book of Buddhistic scripture. After a challenging walks up to Mandalay hill (236m) reword of a fantastic sunset view from the hill. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Excursion Ava
Breakfast at hotel, Excursion to forgotten capital ruins of Ava, having 400 years the longest serve capital of Konebaung Dynasty located across Myitnge river. Sightseeing by pony carts to include Bargaya teak monastery, built in 1834 which is famous for its teak pillars amounting to 267 in total and the remains of the royal palace and fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Excursion Amapura - Sagaing
Breakfast and visit Phayagyi to observe the most revered Mahamuni Image. The 4 meter seated Buddha Image was believed to have been casted in 1st century AD but over the year of gold leaf offering the figure is 18 cm thicket. Proceed to ancient capital of Amapura "meaning city of immortality". Visit Mahagandayone Monastery to observe the lunch process of hundreds of Buddhist monks. Proceed to Sagaing. One the way observe silver smith workshop and proceed to Sagaing (wholly place of Buddhism), covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is home of 3000 monks and 100 meditation centers. On your return enjoy sunset view from the 200-year-old U Bein wooden bridge, constructed entirely from teak. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Mandalay - Mt. Popa - Bagan
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bagan, Mandalay to Bagan (310 km, approx 8 hour), Bagan lies in the dry plain of central Myanmar by the banks of the Ayeyarwady river is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Asia. En-route visit Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano with shrine dedicated to animist spirit known as "Nats", sightseeing around Mt.Popa and proceed to Bagan. On the way, visit the local village to observe daily life style and perhaps a social and cultural interaction with the local through your guide. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16 : Bagan
Breakfast and excursion Bagan archaeological zone with highlights; Gawdawpalin, one of the largest and most imposing Monument in Bagan, Shwegugyi, Thabyinnyu,the highest monument of universal science, Shwesandaw for panoramic view of the ruins, Dhammyangyi, the temple of unique of all Asia, Sulamuni, Myingabar Gubyukggyi for its exquisite mural paintings, Myazedi pillar inscribed in four language mainly Myanmar, Mon, Pali and Pyu, Manuha temple with captive king's impression of life imprisonment, Abeyadana temple famous for it's fine mural paintings on Mahayana Buddhism. Visit lacquer ware workshop to observe process of traditional Myanmar souvenir. Continue to visit Min Nanthu village and sunset from Tayokepyay temple. Enjoy sunset from one of the ruins. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 17 : Bagan - Yangon - Departure
Breakfast and transfer to airport for your Yangon bound flight W9 143 (07:35 - 08:55) (check in time at Nyaung U airport 06:35, time to depart 05:30). Upon arrive at Yangon airport, transfer to Hotel in Yangon for refreshment and free time until your departure.
