Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar

  Arrival Srinagar Airport. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Houseboat for Check in. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m (1530 feet) above sea level, spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nagin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year. Overnight stay in Srinagar Houseboat.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Gulmarg (55 Kms / 2 Hrs

  After breakfast we leave for Gulmarg where you can take a fun-filled Gondola ride. With the setting up of the Gondola Cable Car, Gulmarg has become the highest lift-served ski resort in the world providing a downhill ski run of 5.2 km from a height of 14,000 ft in the Apharwat range. It is also the longest gondola served ski-lift in Asia. Overnight stay in Gulmarg Hotel.

• Day 3 : Gulmarg - Srinagar (55 Kms / 2 Hrs)

  After breakfast take a fun-filled Gondola ride. Later you will be driven back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Pahalgam (95 Kms / 3 Hrs)

  Post breakfast we drive to Pahalgam, also called as “Valley of Shepherds” situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's Village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25C. Take a leisurely stroll or pony rides across these beautiful pinewoods to a place known here among tourists as Mini-Switzerland(Baisaran) Or you can proceed for sightseeing of Pahalgam visiting Betaab valley, Chandanwari and Aru valley. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 5 : Srinagar - Sonamarg (84 Kms / 2&1/2 Hrs)

  After early breakfast leave for Hazratbal Shrine and then later you will be driven to Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m. Sonamarg - 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of Gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and Mahseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months. Return back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 6 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast visit Asia’s largest Tulip Garden, Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jahangir in 1632 AD. In addition, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jahangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan and covering ChashmeShahi and PariMahal. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Evening we will take you for Shikara Ride. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 7 : Depart Srinagar - Leh Arrival

  After breakfast you will be driven to Srinagar Airport to catch the flight for Leh. Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport (This must be one of the Most Sensational Flights in the World. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.) Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to LehPalace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh Hotel.

• Day 8 : Leh–Nubra Valley Via Khardung La 18,390 Ft. (120 Kms / 4 – 5 Hrs

  Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight stay in Nubra Hotel.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 9 : Nubra Valley – Leh (120 Kms / 4 – 5 Hrs)

  After an early breakfast we check out from the Camp and drive to Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road are rockymountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later we drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh you will check in to your Hotel. Overnight stay in Leh Hotel.

• Day 10 : Leh - Excursion To Pangong Lake14,000 Ft. (140 Kms / 4- 5 Hrs

  After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. After spending some time at Pangong We drive back to Leh in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Leh Hotel.

• Day 11 : Depart Leh – Delhi Arrival

  After breakfast you will be driven to Leh Airport to catch the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Visit Jama Masjid - India's largest mosque and one can enjoy Cycle rickshaw ride in narrow alleys of old Delhi through Kinari Bazaar and 400 years old Chandni Chowk bazaars. Rajghat - crimination place of Mahatama Gandhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun Tomb – Tomb of 2nd Mughal emperor and Qutab Minar the highest stone tower in India. India Gate - This solemn monument was built in memory of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in the World War Ist. Drive past the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, Parliament House. Overnight stay in Delhi Hotel.

Nishat Tours And Travels will not bear any cost for flight cancelled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.
No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
No changes in the date of travel once booked.
Room allotment will be as per availability at the time of check in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.

In the event of accommodation not becoming available at any of the above mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement / reduction whatever applicable) to you.
