Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Srinagar - Shikara ride on Dal Lake

  Arrive in Srinagar | Shikara ride on Dal LakeMeals: No MealUpon arrival at the Srinagar airport/railway Station, board your designated vehicle and drive to the hotel. After reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and rest. Thereafter, leave the hotel to exploring this beautiful city of Srinagar. This city is situated at the banks of Jhelum River and is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Famous for its gleaming lakes and royal gardens, it is visited by hordes of tourists all round the year.
  Dal Lake, is the second largest lake in the entire state and is the major centre of attraction for tourists. Take a boat ride in this sparkling lake and spend some quality time with your companion. This lake has various houseboats, where you can stay and get a glimpse of the Kashmiri culture.
  After the wonderful shikara ride, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

• Day 2 : Srinagar to Gulmarg - Return to Srinagar

Located at an altitude of approximately 2,670 m above sea level, the views of the surroundings from this hill station are sensational. The world's highest 18-hole golf course – Gulmarg Golf Course located at this place is among the major attractions. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, a walk in the lush green meadows of this hill station is sure to rejuvenate your senses.
  
  To add a fun factor to the vacation, take a pony ride or a Gondola ride (rope way) to Khilanmarg. This beautiful valley is a perfect place to enjoy skiing, mountain golfing and many other sports.
  
  After exploring this place, return to Srinagar. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  Aru Valley, known for its scenic meadows, is at a distance of approximately 12 km from the Lidder Valley. This small picture-perfect village serves as the gateway for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier. Other than this, you can also visit Chandanwari, which is the starting point for the Amarnath Yatra. Also, it is widely acknowledged for winter sports, mainly sledging on the snow. On the way to Chandanwari, visit Hajan. The picture-perfect beauty of this place is also captured in various Hindi films.
  
  A stroll in the pine forests along the Lidder River can be a captivating experience. This is also an ideal site for picnic and trekking purposes. Amidst thickly-wood pine forest and snow-capped mountains is the Baisaran Meadow, enjoy a pony ride to reach up to this meadow and adore the picture-perfect views of the Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley.
  
  Thereafter, retire to the hotel to get a good night's sleep.

Do not miss a visit to the famous Shankaracharya Temple, which is also known as Jyesteshwara Temple. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is believed to be one of the oldest temples of the region. A view of the entire city from this temple is sure to spellbound you.
  
  In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
