Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Arrival at NJP/IXB where our representative will receive you- Transfer to Darjeeling (2134m)- Check in at the hotel – Spend the rest of the day at leisure- Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling

  Start the day early morning (4 am) and drive to Tiger Hill (2590m) to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga, world’s third highest peak. On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastry and Batasia Loop. In the morning after breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Chitrey Tea Garden( outer view) , Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Go to Chowrasta and Mall Road for a stroll in the evening.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling to Kalimpong

  Transfer to Kalimpong via Lopchu Tea Garden. Try Tea, Peda (local sweet) and local fruit juice there. On the way, stop at Lover’s Meet View Point to see the spectacular conference of River Teesta and Rangit below. Check in at the hotel; go for Kalimpong Sight Seeing Deolo Hill, Science City, Durbin Dara Hill, Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Monastry and Pine View Cactus Nursery. Check in at the hotel in the evening and stay overnight.

• Day 4 : Kalimpong – Gangtok

  Proceed to Gangtok after breakfast. Check in at the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Gangtok

  Early morning at around 8 am, start for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft./3750m/3 hrs. drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir(13,200 ft./4000m) . The lake is considered sacred by the locals. Return to Gangtok by evening and stay overnight.

• Day 6 : Departure

  Check out from hotel and depart from NJP/IXB with sweet memories.
