Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Beijing

Arrive Beijing International Airport, upon arrival and after completing airport formalities meet our local representative / tour manager transfer to coach, check-in and rest. Evening proceed to Acrobatic Show.

Acrobatic shows in Beijing are definitely worth seeing. There are many world class acrobatic troupes. The amazing feats showcase strength, skill, and dexterity that literally boggle the mind. Some of the more popular acts include: a lion dance, where two acrobats work together doing stunts in a lion costume; Chinese yoyo tricks, gravity-defying body contortions, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking, and more. We recommend that you to sit in the lower seating area so that you will have the best vantage point. The show is usually performed at night and lasts about one and a half hours. After the show you will be allowed to go onto the stage and take photos with the performers. Overnight stay at Beijing
Day 2 : Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Shopping

Tiananmen Square

Located at the center of Beijing City is Tiananmen Square, where you can visit Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and see the national flag raising ceremony. Thousands of people come to the Square every day. It is the must place to visit in Beijing City.

Forbidden City

Was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world since 1925.

Temple of heaven

Emperor Yongle was completed in 1420. It was used by all subsequent Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. We have to visti Temple of Heaven Park covers an expansive 2.73 KMs. The entire site is filled with symbolism, centered on the main idea that Earth is square and Heaven is round. The temples and altars are round (with blue tiles further representing Heaven) and stand on square bases. The park contains three main groups of buildings, all constructed according to strict feng shui requirements: The central pathway leads straight to the Round Altar, The path continues to the House of Heavenly Lord (or Imperial Vault of Heaven,), a round building made entirely of wood and topped with a splendid roof of dark blue glazed tiles. It is built on a single level of marble stone base, where the altars were housed when not in use. Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests This magnificent round building is made entirely of wood without the use of a single nail. The interior is painting in dazzling colors. The Temple of Heaven is the grandest of four great temples in Beijing, the others being the Temple of Sun in the east, the Temple of Earth in the north and the Temple of Moon. Day 3 : Great Wall of China (Juyong pass) and Jade factory, Olympic park

Today after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Beijing downtown its about 60 km drive, Juyong Pass is one of the important passes along the Great Wall, named as “Jundu Pass”, “Jimen Pass” as well in history. Strategically situated in the middle of 20-km-long Guan Valley of Jundu Mountain, Juyong Pass has long become the major thoroughfare from Beijing to outside the Great Wall. The local government launched large-scale renovation to this section of the Great Wall, and opened it to the tourists from home and abroad soon after completion. Olympic park We can also observe the Olympic park (2008) viewing the stadium from outside (photo stop) and Jade factory is also included to the days itinerary.

Summer Palace

Located in Beijing's northwest, the Summer Palace covers more than 3-hundred hectares, including Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. which was first constructed in 1750 during the Qing DynastyChina's most famous imperial summer resort, the Summer Palace, will now usher in advanced technologies such as real-time monitoring to collect data as part of its world heritage protection efforts. The palace has been outfitted with a new Monitoring Centre. It possesses the cream of ancient Chinese architecture styles, and it's the last imperial garden in China's history. Day 4 : Lama Temple Beijing Hutong Tour, Chinese Tradition Tea House

Today proceed to Lama Temple Beijing (Yonghegong), or Palace of Peace and Harmony Lama Temple or Yonghegong Lamasery, a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism, is situated in the northeast part of Beijing city.If you would like to have a glimpse into Beijing'Yesterday”, you are highly recommended to have a short adventure trip to the Hutongs (old alleyways or siheyuan, the traditional courtyard residences) You may explore the narrow and curved alleys on foot. Day 5 : Shanghai - Speed Train Yu Garden Bund

Today after early breakfast proceed to South Beijing Railway station to board fastest train to Shanghai, in 2nd seating which covers 1070 KMs in 5 ½ hours time. On reaching Shanghai your will be visiting, some of the most beautiful spots at Yu Garden and the rich city of Shangai Main centre the Bund and new world area. Day 6 : Pudong New Area and Pearl Tv Tower, Century Park, Nanjing Road

Largest echo-city park with natural characteristics. it covers an area of 140.3 hectares and is designed by British luc company, which embodies the combination of eastern and western cultures, human and nature and with a feature of Chinese gardens. with large areas of grassland, forests and lakes as its main part, there are scenic spots like islands in the lakes, meeting square, country gardens and grasslands and facilities like birds reservation, scientific experience and experiment, children's park etc. tourists may enjoy fishing, kite-flying and picnic to the farthest extent. Me and my Wife recently made the Char Dham Yatra starting from New Delhi on 7th Oct. and completed on 20th Oct. We had a wonderful time and were able to experience the beautiful un-spoilt Natural beauty of Uttarakhand. All the darshans, especially Kedarnath and Badrinath went off without a hitch. I want to specially thank our tour Manager Sri.S.Krishna for being our friend and guide for these 15days. His organization of the tour, inspite of the early morning calls were very useful and enabled us to reach our destinations early and without rush hour traffic and have unhurried darshans at many shrines. The support staff also need to be much appreciated; excellent driving by the Drivers; timely and tasty meals cooked by the culinary staff and the arduous but efficient loading and unloading of the many and heavy luggage. Thank you Anandvihari for a wonderful experience.
