The Tiger's Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff above the Paro valley, and the Punakha Dzong, a magnificent fortification situated at the confluence of two rivers, are two of the most well-known places to see while touring Bhutan. Visitors can also tour Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, which is renowned for its stunning temples and traditional style. The Phobjikha Valley is another well-liked vacation spot where travellers may see the magnificent black-necked cranes that migrate to the area each winter.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra to Phuentsholing.

  Welcome on arrival at NJP Railway station / Bagdogra Airport, After greetings we will take you to Phuentsholing. “The Gateway of Bhutan”. On arrival check in your hotel.The rest of the day is leisure. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

• Day 2 : Phuentsholing to Thimphu.

  After breakfast complete the immigration formalities check out from the hotel and proceed to Thimphu is one of the smallest capital in the world. En-route we visit Kharbandi Monastery. On arrival check in to your hotel. Free time to shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

• Day 3 : Thimphu. ( Local Sightseeing ).

  After breakfast a full day sightseeing starting with Kuensel Phodrang Lord Buddha Statue Point. National Library houses some exclusive collection of Buddhist manuscript, King’s Memorial Chorten (Monument),Chang Gangkha one of the.oldest monastery. Institute for Zoring Chusum where students undertake a six year course on the 13 traditional arts and craft of Bhutan. Taxtile and Folk Heritage Museum.These Museums both of which opened in 2001 provide fascinating insight in Bhutanese material culture and way of life. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point,Tashichho Dzong.Mini Zoo where you can see National animal of Bhutan.Overnight stay at Thimphu.

• Day 4 : Thimphu to Dochu la Pass to Punakha.

  After breakfast drive to Punakha the former capital of Bhutan. On the way stop at Dochu La Pass 10,000 ft. to views of the Himalayan view of 108 Druk Wangyal Chorten. Colorful Prayer flags. On arrival check in to your hotel. Later we visit Punakha suspension bridge which is the second longest suspension bridge in Bhutan.Dechen Phodrang ( Palace of great Happiness ) Punakha dzong. Free time to shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Punakha.

• Day 5 : Punakha to Paro.

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Paro which is real Paradise on Earth On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park, Tamcho iron bridge. On arrival check in your hotel. Afternoon visit Airport View Point Drukgyel Dzong also known as Victory Fortress and Kyichu Monastery.Ta Dzong originally built as Watch tower which now houses National Museum.The extensive collection includes antique Thangkas Paintings, textiles, weapons @ armour.Paro Penelope Heritage Farm house.Taktsang Monastery view point. Free time to shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Paro.

  After breakfast drive to excursion to Chele la pass (3988 m) one of the highest motor able passes in the country.It is also a sacred place to festoon the pass with prayer flags Chele la pass la ridge offers gardens of Himalayan flowers, plants and of special pheasant species.It offers a spectacular view of Mt.Jomolhari.Rinpung Dzong. Evening enjoy the Bhutanese cultural program followed by Bollywood music and dance, let’s celebrate. Overnight stay at Paro.
