Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  You will be picked up in Abuja by a Holiday Nigeria representative. Who will come with an air-conditioned vehicle and light refreshments for the road. You immediately commence your five hour drive to Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi State Nigeria.
  
  The journey will be fun and interesting, as you will find Nigeria to be scenic and the local people are very hospitable. Feel free to stop and take pictures, or buy anything you find being hawked by the locals.
  
  * Arrival: You would arrive the Reserve in the afternoon and immediately be issued an entry ticket at the main entrance to the Reserve. Please do not pay anything, as you details have already been given to the entrance gate officials before hand.
  
  The drive into the Reserve visitor reception area and lodges are some minutes from the main entrance gate. Just relax and enjoy the view, you may catch glimpse of some wildlife. On arrival at the Reserve, the driver will drop you off at the reception and commence his journey back to Abuja.
  
  You will be directed to the Reception for check into your room. The staffs already have a Double Room allocated to you. Note that because you arrived late in the afternoon, you may have been late for lunch; however an early dinner is reserved for you. Kindly locate the restaurant beforehand let them know your preferred meal.

• Day 2 : Abuja

  The morning after you will take breakfast and prepare to join a group of tourists for wildlife viewing in the forest. Again do not pay for the tour, as all payments have been made earlier. You would be back for lunch. Afterwards you can swim in the warm spring and dinner go for dinner at night.
  
  For the next four days, these shall be your routine. The attractions in the Reserve are:
  
  Wildlife viewing: elephants, wildebeest, warthogs, gazelles, birds, and et cetera.
  Archaeological findings: Early-man caves, 100 connected ancient wells, etc.
  Locations of Natural warm springs for animals
  The Wikki Warm spring: a naturally warm spring that serves as the Reserve swimming pool for tourists. (We already paed for you to swim for three different days)
  Late evening and early morning view of the wildlife from the windows of your room. (some of the grazing animals and monkeys come into the lodge area to rest and play)

• Day 3 : Abuja

  You will board the Toyota Camry that brought you from Abuja and return back home to Abuja. We expect that you will depart early, about 6am, so as to arrive early. The driver would have been there the day before in the evening. He will locate you as soon as he arrived and prepare you for the return journey.
