You will experience a fly fishing retreat at a private alpine lake set high above Zermatt—but easily accessible by a mountain cableway. This is a privately-owned lake and you have the opportunity to have sole fishing rights for one day.

Trout and Char are waiting for you
The lake holds a healthy balance of Trout and Char. The Rainbow Trout are very willing to take a dry fly and make for a fun catch as they bounce across the lake. Brown Trout are more cautious feeders, but as they’ve grown they are more comfortable in snatching our lures. Arctic Char are rare and provide the greatest challenge for any expert angler. Lake Trout is a powerful and very predatory fish that makes for an exciting catch. One 4½-pounder we caught took more than 15 minutes to fight and land. It’s just a short walk beyond the lake and toward the glacier to a mountain lodge where your prized catch can be prepared and served to you—the freshest fish you’ve ever eaten.

Clay Pigeon Shoot included
Your 3-night/4-day stay in Zermatt virtually assures a good weather window for an optimal experience. And on the day you’re not at the lake, you’ll be treated to a clay pigeon shoot on the world’s highest clay pigeon shooting range. With state-of-the-art lasersport equipment you’ll get a safe introduction to clay pigeon shooting. You're using a real shotgun that has been deactivated and adapted to shoot infrared rays at reusable clays. And it's super-competitive since several people can shoot and hit the same clay simultaneously. It’s a great way to improve your technique with a little competitive element that appeals to all ages and skill levels.
