Climate & Geography

The climate of Saudi Arabia is a desert climate with the day temperatures touching 129 degrees F (54 degrees C) and the night temperatures often plummet to 32 degrees at night. The annual rainfall is low in Saudi Arabia except for the Asir region. The Asir region comes under the influence of the Indian Ocean monsoons and averages around 12 inch (30 mm) of rainfall during the period between October and March.
