Chinatown Heritage Center is located in Singapore. It is incorporated in a three storey vertical and attempts to recreate the Singapore of 1950s. The museum gives a glimpse of the heritage of Singapore. The visitors can also see insightful videos in the museum.
Chinese Immigrants
It is a museum narrating the touching story of how immigrants once lived in the most unpleasant conditions. These immigrants or 'sinkheh' had chosen to come to Singapore from China to earn a living and settled here. The museum depicts the various hardships they had to face.
The museum also exhibits the gloomy side of Singapore of olden days when the country had gambling dens, and secret societies also operated.
