Best place to Visit : Museo Nacional de Escultura --- Colegio de San Gregorio. The 20 rooms of the museum charts displays the region s religious heritage and art history with figurines, sculptures and other mementos from the now-destroyed monasteries. Entrance to the museum is free on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Casa de Cervantes ---- C. Castro. The old house of the medieval writer Cervantes is nothing too spectacular, but the collection of old books and furniture will appeal to some. Cathedral ---- Pl. Universidad. As in most Spanish towns the cathedral has a presence of its own. This cathedral was designed by Juan de Herra, and is quite quaint with its monochromatic colour scheme. Museo Diocesano ---- Pl. Universidad. This museum hosts a great array of statues of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and the saints.
