Bahama Boat Tours

Captain Carl Blades is the Operations Manager of Bahama Boat Tours. He has over 20 years maritime experience and has earned a 3000 ton Master’s License from the Bahamas Maritime Authority and also a 500 ton “A” Class Master’s License from the Bahamas Port Authority. He served as an officer in the Royal Bahamas Defense Force for over 16 years attaining the rank of lieutenant. His naval officer training was attained at Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth England. He attended courses held by the US Navy and Coast Guard during his military career. He held various positions in the Force including Commanding Officer of numerous patrol crafts. BoatsHe has worked in the private sector for five years as a captain of several international freight boats and mail boats sailing between the Bahamas and South Florida. He has also earned a public service driver’s license and is a graduate of the Bahama Host program. He is assisted by other Bahamas Port Authority Licensed boat captains.
